I just finished watching "Mars" on Disney +. It is sort of a combination of a documentary and a SciFi.
I grew up in Florida and paid a whole lot of attention to space shots. I looked forward to space shots and used to really document the shot. I used to be a fan of space and thought we would be on Mars by 2000.
But since I accepted the concept of Rapture I have thought about this a bunch. Christians will be gone and many countries will experiance serious disorder and reorganization. Our national debt is through the roof and sustaining it may be impossible after the Rapture. The debt stays the same but now there will be far fewer people to pay it. With Christians gone there will be thousands and thousands of deserted cars and houses. I believe this will trigger a real estate recession and cut the selling price of used cars.
And the AC wants everyone left to worship him. I don't think space exploration will be part of his plans. Exploring space is very expensive and there will be fewer people to pay the big bill.
So my thought on this is space travel will move to the back burner. I don't think we will be going to Mars anytime soon.
