A left-wing group linked to billionaire George Soros has won a nearly $172 million federal contract from President Joe Biden’s administration to help young border crossers avoid deportation, a report revealed this week.

Fox News’s Adam Shaw and Joe Schoffstall reported on Thursday that the Vera Institute of Justice, with financial ties to Soros, has won a federal contract for $171.7 million that will provide attorneys to Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) to avoid deportation from the United States.

The federal contract could end up showering the Vera Institute of Justice with $1 billion in taxpayer funding, Fox News reported:

It's still a crime for people to illegally enter our country. It is also a crime to aid and abet criminals.

Maybe next time they can work on something that actually keeps the immigrants from being abused and taken advantage of by the Coyotes {Cartel smugglers) who routinely rape the women and press gang the men into working in the drug trade as throw-away, low level couriers? They often force the men to keep working as couriers even after they arrive in the USA by telling them they will kill their families back home in Mexico if they don't comply.

The liberal press will NEVER mention this side of the equation, but it's very real and it's what the AZ Border Patrol sees daily.

I'm not for mass, illegal immigration, people need to come here and work legally, paying taxes, etc.. (It keeps them from being exploited by greedy American business owners and companies who pay cash for less than minimum wage). I understand these people just want to come here and make money, (often just to send home to relatives as opposed to "invading the USA") but these people are being used as unwitting pawns by BOTH political parties and the Mexican Drug cartels are making human trafficking/smuggling a MAJOR "side-hustle" to their drug business.

In my own opinion, sad to say, I think the drug business is OUR OWN fault; if so many Americans didn't constantly feel the need to get high/use drugs, the drug traffickers would no longer have a market. The fact that so many drug users have been dying from overdose via drugs laced with Fentanyl; and it hasn't even slowed down the drug trade is just pathetic.

As the world gets creepier and darker I imagine the illegal drug markets will grow bigger and bigger.

They already are. China imports fentanyl and fentanyl-laced products. They ship directly to customers, including the cartels, the US, Canada, Mexico and Europe. They are the world's leading supplier of such. India is coming on strong too with another opioid based on Tramadol, a prescription pain med used within the medical community and one which is also now highly abused. Like fentanyl, it's super cheap which means many more can afford it. India does not list opioids on its list of banned substances, which makes production and export very easy. As a result, Africa and the Middle East are also beginning to experience opioid crises as well. Groups like ISIS and Boku Haram are buying in bulk for resale. There is also a significant lack of international agreement and regulation with regards to these drugs. WHO continues to avoid critical reviews of such drugs as Tramadol and will not even entertain requests for international controls. This is not a western problem, it is already a grand-scale global problem. And tptb are looking the other way for obvious reasons.
