I saw this on BBC news and thought I'd share for some mid week joy. Over recent years it has become a bit of a trend for people to make woollen 'toppers' for British pillar boxes. These are not official, it is just people in their communities who invent and make these to cheer up their local communities and mark occasions. So, this year, people have started making them for the Jubilee. Those shown on the article are but a few of those that are out there. My wife saw one at the weekend not so far away from us, and it was another great Jubilee inspired design. I find it really nice that people do things like that, and am also impressed at the designs.
