Skittles' new packaging has some calling to boycott with 'Budweiser treatment'

Skittles hasn't learned anything from the bud light episode. If anything, it seems they are tempting people to boycott their candy by having "Taste the Rainbow" and a drag queen on the package. I wouldn't think this will hurt them like it has some others, but kids don't have any money. The spending dollars comes from parents.

I keep saying this, I'm glad I'm getting old and hopefully won't be around long enough to have to see the carnage all this mess brings in 20 years.

Tall Timbers

Imperfect but forgiven
I've eaten skittles and I like mustard, but for some reason or other I don't have any desire to try a mustard skittle.

Skittles are made by Wrigley, a division of Mars. The company makes a lot of the popular candies out there, so if you're gonna avoid their products your diet is about to get a lot healthier.

They are colorful sweet, tangy, slightly chewey little pellets of sugar....a bit bigger than an M&M. I find them delicious but I love sugar.

I hate all this sexuality involved in everything...but kids candy??? How low can they go??

Lower, of course. Cartoons, breakfast cereal, snacks, toys, you name it-they'll do it.

Remember, they said they are coming for the children.

I don't like skittles. Never bought a pkg before, only tasted someone elses. Same with bud light. The target hurts, because I really liked to shop there. But they just kept it going. I'm done. They are building the second target in our city. I plan to never set foot in it.

Ghoti Ichthus

Pray so they do not serve alone. Ephesians 6:10-20

Already it's considered "hate speech" or cause for banning on some dating sites to ask if someone's a woman (XX) or pretend woman (XY) or a man (XY) or a pretend man (XX), no matter how nicely or PC-wise someone asks.

This will likely spread to kids' online sites, including school virtual classrooms, gaming platforms for kids, texting, etc.

The electronic breadcrumb trail makes it "impossible" to hide/deny and easy for TPTB to find the people needing "reeducation" :mad

Just the fact they have High Fructose Corn Syrup (a cancer/diabetes causing "food additive" /poison that is outright banned from being added to foods in many Europeans countries) is enough of a reason for me.

They're trash food, woke or not.

Really? Wow!
No wonder Skittles always make me nauseous.

Sadly, in the USA, it's used by greedy corporations in just about every processed food; cheaper than sugar, govt subsidizes it (corn crops) and it does make processed food "tastier" (and addictive).

Not only does it make you fat, it's a major contributor to metabolic syndrome so, even young folks who aren't visibly fat can have internal organs that look and function like a middle aged alcoholic's do. Of course, big pharma has plenty of products they would love to get you hooked on to "fix" the symptoms, not the underlying cause.

Good general rule of thumb is if the list of ingredients has more than 5 or 6 ingredients (and especially if you cant pronounce any of them) than it's not food, it's a nutritional abomination.

Since I cut out most sugar and all HFCS except the occasional Dr. Pepper (my one remaining "vice" ) I've never felt better. This is from a guy who used to consume at least 64 oz of soda over the course of an 8 hr work shift back in the day.

I'm very fortunate I don't eat much sugar!
I don't have a "sweet tooth", I have a "meat tooth", so avoid most scary ingredient lists by living on homemade jerky.

Since I was diagnosed with diabetes 1n 1991 I have pretty much stopped eating candy.

I am pre-diabetic and have managed to stay that way for several years by modifying my former SAD (Standard American Diet).

My grandmother had full blown diabetes as does my Father in law. Good on you for being strong enough to make the change Carl!

It's not easy; my Father in Law, even though he takes insulin still hasn't noticeably modified his eating habits though he will periodically try. It's tough to watch.

My wife and I have adopted a "Paleo-ish" diet (we still eat some starchy carbs like pasta, rice, oatmeal, grits, etc.) but emphasize healthy fats, protein and fiber with the bulk of our carbs from veggies.

Home made jerky sounds awesome!

That's about how I eat! Meat, veg, potato and firepit cooking. Very fortunate that I've never craved bread or sweets.
Edit: unless pizza. Then I go hogwild :ahaha

I bought a little dehydrator and love it!
My current favourite is tinkering around with ground beef jerky. I have arthritis in my jaw, so it's a bit easier to munch on!
