Sharing Jesus, need feedback

I follow a blog online. I don't know this person. I just read her blog. She is having serious and potentially terminal health problems along with going through a lot of personal changes including her beloved little dog dying several months ago. I think I'm supposed to share Jesus with her. I'll admit I've never shared the gospel with anyone. Between being an introvert and pretty much just having Christian family for my friends I've never had the opportunity. As I was browsing her blog and thinking about sharing lo and behold she mentions thinking about God a lot lately. She refers to God as a she and assorted other deceptions.

I'm feeling intimidated by this. I honestly don't want to do it, but I will. Any suggestions or tips and PRAYERS are appreciated. How would you go about this? I have an idea that I'll share later.

Perhaps you could start out by telling her there is a reason to have hope in the face of such adversity. You may even want to let her know you feel the need to share The Gospel with her. Tell her The Good News and be prepared to answer the questions she will have. I'll be praying for you but you, yourself must pray for guidance and wisdom that you may reach her. May The Holy Spirit speak through you.

Here's a funny thing that happened. As I was thinking about this I thought of a book I read that helped when I was doubting Christianity. The guy who wrote it is a very rational, logical person like myself. God healed him of a terminal illness in a very obviously miraculous way, and he set out to disprove or prove the Bible, wherever his studies ended up. He proved it. So, I was thinking about this book regarding the lady I'm talking about. Bear in mind I'm still trying to wriggle my way out of this thing. Without any details besides the basics, my mom suggests this book when I asked her to pray with me about it. Sigh. I am NOT an evangelist, a social person, someone who approaches strangers, etc.

:pray Just ask God to prepare her heart and give you the words. Then write what you feel in your heart, not what you try to reason out in your mind. Then pray God take it right to her heart and convict her of her need of Him. Pray that faith arise in her heart to receive God's call to her. That's all God asks of you.

Kerbluey, let me share this with you.
I had a friend at work many years ago. When I became a Christian, he was the kind of person who would make fun of you etc.
Over the years we kept in contact with him and he started to go back to his catholic church he belonged to.
The past year he developed cancer in 5 major organs. My wife and I would take him to his chemo and brain treatments, visit and bring him lunch when he couldn't help himself. He was still the guy who would state "I have my own religion".
Many times I prayed for an opening to share with him knowing he may shut me down in the process.
One day while my wife and I were visiting him, he mentioned that he was scared.
I asked if we could pray for him and he responded with yes.
We all held hands and I prayed out loud for him. While praying, I included the Gospel message in this prayer for him.
As time went on, we had the opportunity to pray with him several more times before he passed away.
I guess what I am trying to say is that God can use many ways to share the Gospel in any situation you are in.
Pray for guidance and he will lead you.

Jesus loved us and said we should Love our enemies
Thank you all for your kind and wise words. I think today I'm going to sit down and compose an email to her and see where it goes. I've been asking the Lord to help me! I will keep you all updated.

Randy, that is beautiful!
Thank you so much, Kerbluey, for the willingness on your part to be a tool in the hands of the Lord,
Here is the gospel in a nut shell,

the GOSPEL of FORGIVENESS

God the Son, Jesus, on the cross died for our sin.
On the third day, from the dead Jesus did rise.
Seen by many, that now He was alive.
Preached, by His disciples, the forgiveness of sin.
Everyone is to repent and trust only in Him.
Lord Jesus by your Spirit come and live within.

I have put this onto business card size tracts to hand out to strangers, family and friends. On the back of the card I put the sinners prayer,

Lord Jesus, I believe the gospel and agree that I am a sinner who is in need of a Savior. I repent and ask for your forgiveness. Come into my heart and change me into the person you desire me to become. I now receive your free gift of eternal life.

I keep my wallet filled with these business cards because I never know when or who the Lord will bring into my path. I know tracks are effective because, before I came to the Lord, I read many tracts that were left at a restaurant were I worked as a teenager. Just remember this, God is the one who is drawing that person to Himself, we are just given the honor of participating in His work. Again, remember, God is the one who is at work and we are just one hungry beggar telling another hungry beggar where to find the Bread of Life.
God bless,
Brother Albert

I heard back from the lady! First off, I didn't share the salvation message. I tried but kept feeling like I needed to just offer her some kind words, prayers, and tell her about this book that helped me and offer to send her mine. So, that's what I did. She wrote back and thanked me for the prayers and SHE BOUGHT THE BOOK.
What was the book?
