With the war on Ukraine reaching day 13 sanctions against Russia have been consistently ramping up. Among massive sanctions from both private sectors and governments rose the question of dependency on Russian gas and oil, with Russia being one of the main exporters of both. Coffee giant Starbucks Corp said on Tuesday that it is suspending all business activity in Russia, including the shipment of its products and cafes run by a licensee.

Russia and Belarus should not be permitted to host, bid for, or be awarded any international sporting events after the invasion of Ukraine, according to a statement signed by sporting officials from dozens of countries and released by the U.S. State Department.

The statement calls on international sporting federations to limit sponsorship opportunities for companies tied to Russian and Belarusian governments. It is signed by officials from the United Kingdom, Italy and Japan, among other countries. China and India are not included in the statement.

All these sanctions on Russia might have severe ramifications on the world in a way I don’t think people realize. I personally have never seen anything happen like this. This event with Russia and Ukraine is changing everything right in front of our eyes.

How will Russia react to all this is my question? To be honest I don’t think even Putin anticipated this much response from the world (mostly the west).

Whether Putin is Gog or not, Russia is definitely getting in a position to were they will definitely need spoil. No country can walk out of this amount of sanctions unscathed.

I think those of us who are watching and waiting for the Lords return have reached a very pivotal moment on this wait. Once the dust settles after this Russia and Ukraine war. We might be able to see some major stage setting.

Is Israel going to resume construction of the pipeline to Europe? - Is this the hook as it will definitely threaten Russia’s supply benefits of gas to Europe?

Is Israel going to make a preemptive strike on Iran due to its nuke ambitions? - Isaiah 17?

I’m not going to be dogmatic but just thinking out loud here. I don’t believe God has every postponed his return. I think we just get too eager, and when nothing we are disappointed and forget God has already fixed a date on which he will return.

“The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.””
‭‭Acts‬ ‭17:30-31‬ ‭

This reality is what gives me hope. We will one day wake up to that date God has fixed to take his church, and right after start judging the world. Sometimes I can’t comprehend the thought. I’m just going to pray, I really hope the church wakes up and starts preaching about the Lords return.

This is looking like it will only get worse. The U.S. didn't put a sanction on Uranium which supplies 20% of it's electricity and Putin yesterday has given his government 2 days to look at the restrictions on commodities. If Uranium is one it could be an escalation.
