ISTANBUL (Reuters) - The construction of the offshore part of the TurkStream pipeline that will pump Russian gas to Turkey had been completed, a senior official at Russian gas giant Gazprom said on Monday.

Gazprom’s Oleg Aksyutin made the announcement on television after Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan met in Istanbul to mark the completion of the offshore leg of the pipeline.

Hmmm, wonder if that means a quick easy way to siphon Israel's gas fields north to Russia when the time comes for Gog to get his big idea?

Putin's not stealing gas from Turkey, he is pumping it down to Turkey, but give him access to Syrian oil fields (held by the Kurds right now I think) he'd reverse the flow in a heartbeat, now that he has a pipeline. What a temptation of Israel's gas and oil finds, he is probably thinking ahead and planning how to siphon Israel's wealth up north to his advantage.
