Russian General dies in apparent suicide weeks after being fired
The Former Russian Ministry of the Interior is now the latest in a string of mysterious suicides tied to Vladimir Putin and his regime.

Former Russian Ministry of the Interior Maj. Gen. Vladimir Makarov was found dead in a suburb near Moscow after an apparent suicide weeks after he was reportedly relieved of his post by President Vladimir Putin, Russian state news agency TASS reported.

Makarov, who previously served as the deputy head of the Main Directorate for Combating Extremism and was known for suppressing dissent, was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, Russian-language news outlet SOTA reported.

After his reported sudden dismissal last month, had fallen into a “deep depression” and did not know how to proceed with his career after a lifetime of military service, relatives told the VChK-OGPU Telegram channel.

Oh sad!!! I am sorry for the poor man. That is what happens to those who oppose Putin, even in the mildest of terms.

As for the suicide idea, yeah, I'll take that with a large grain of salt, maybe a whole box of salt. "Suicide" is the favourite way of death for Putin's critics and even "friends" who say ill judged things like "maybe you need to think twice on that sir."

Sadly this is why nobody but nobody in Putin's inner circle dares say anything against his plans even in a constructive way.

It's a great big echo chamber surrounding Putin and the gang. Only say what the Tsar wants to hear.

If he was in charge of suppressing dissent maybe he said something crazy like "if you quit invading our former friends the Ukrainians, people wouldn't be so cranky!"

Oh and this is in line with Putin's upcoming speech and the plans to get everyone on the same page. Putin is cleaning house before he launches his next major offensive. He wants all his peasants behind him.
