Russia is also busy with the Sudan

As most of us watching prophecy know, the Biblical prophecy of Ez 38 involves some key allies. One of them is Cush, sometimes translated as Ethiopia, but that is a misnomer because the area known as Cush is actually the Sudan. It is largely Muslim-- sunni variety formerly ruled by a guy called Bashir, who is responsible for the genocides of Darfur. As a result the South Sudan which is mostly Animist and Christian --split away from Sudan under Bashir.

But wait there's more. Bashir got deposed. WHO BY????? None other than the Wagner Group. Bashir who was in power from 1989 onwards, wasn't doing what his Russian handlers in the Wagner group wanted. He got booted April 11, 2019 and one of his assistents a guy called Abdallah Hamdock as far as I can tell is the new "dear leader" of that little mess of a country.

Here is a June 2019 article in the Guardian which details the Wagner Group's activities in Africa but also in the Sudan.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...l-russian-effort-to-exert-influence-in-africa

Essentially somebody leaked some documents that show just exactly what Russia is up to. The Wagner Group is their favourite front line mercenary group. Wagner group has some specialties including rigging elections. But they also act as a mercenary army, they go in, they do whatever they want, no Geneva conventions apply to them, because they aren't a regular army.

Here's the goal as Russia sees it, as stated in the article: "The documents show the scale of Prigozhin-linked recent operations in Africa, and Moscow’s ambition to turn the region into a strategic hub."

Russia wants to turn Africa into their strategic hub. It's about the wealth. Oil and mineral wealth that Putin wants to control and benefit from.

"Russia has a military presence and peacekeeping mission in Central African Republic. CAR is described as “strategically important” and a “buffer zone between the Muslim north and Christian south”. It allows Moscow to expand “across the continent”, and Russian companies to strike lucrative mineral deals, the documents say.

On 24 May the Kremlin announced it was dispatching a team of army specialists to the neighbouring Democratic Republic of the Congo. According to Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s press spokesman, they will service Russian-made military equipment. So far Moscow has signed military cooperation deals with about 20 African states
."

The deals work the same as Syria-- the "leader" gets to stay on as a puppet, while Russia controls the country and benefits from it's wealth. The leader doesn't have to worry about peasants revolting and whacking his head off, he gets all the prestige of leadership, none of the headaches AND he gets some personal wealth as part of the contract with Moscow. But as Bashir found out, the deal is only in effect if you DO WHAT MOTHER RUSSIA TELLS YOU TO AND WHEN SHE SAYS JUMP YOU JUMP. I'm sure the current "dear leader" will be quick to comply.

Notice it's up to 20 African States. When I launched my first Wagner thread, it was only 4 or 5. That was last year. Wow.

"A map from December 2018 seen by the Guardian shows the level of cooperation between the “Company” and African governments, country by country. Symbols indicate military, political and economic ties, police training, media and humanitarian projects, and “rivalry with France”. Five is the highest level; one is the lowest.

The closest relations are with CAR, Sudan and Madagascar – all put at five. Libya, Zimbabwe and South Africa are listed as four, according to the map, with South Sudan at three, and DRC, Chad and Zambia at two.

Other documents cite Uganda, Equatorial Guinea and Mali as “countries where we plan to work”. Libya and Ethiopia are flagged as nations “where cooperation is possible”. The Kremlin has recently stepped up its ground operation in Libya
."

I advise a look at the maps and graphics in the article. They show just exactly how far things have progressed in a very short period of time. Just because we haven't seen Libyan (Put) and Sudanese (Cush) troops on the ground in Syria ready to invade doesn't mean they aren't becoming a very solid part of the Russian alliance of nations that will show up on Israel's border one day.

I will close with the excerpt of what this article said of the Sudan:
"Another key territory is Sudan. Last year Russian specialists drew up a programme of political and economic reform, designed to keep President Omar al-Bashir in power. It included a plan to smear anti-government protesters, apparently copy-pasted from tactics used at home against the anti-Putin opposition. (One memo mistakenly says “Russia” instead of “Sudan”.)

One ploy was to use fake news and videos to portray demonstrators in Khartoum and other Sudanese cities as “anti-Islam”, “pro-Israel” and “pro-LGBT”. The government was told to increase the price of newsprint – to make it harder for critics to get their message out – and to discover “foreigners” at anti-government rallies.

In a leaked letter Prigozhin wrote to Bashir complaining that the president had not actually followed through on the advice. Prigozhin mentioned “lack of activity” by the Sudanese government and its “extremely cautious position”.

The military deposed Bashir in April in a coup. Last week Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces opened fire on pro-democracy protesters, killing over a hundred. The Russian advisers had urged Sudan’s military council to suppress the activists with “minimal but acceptable loss of life”, one former regime source told CNN."

The rest is history, Sudan has a much better more compliant puppet in charge who knows just who really runs the country and all is smooth sailing for now.

Oh and one more little gem from the article:
"the Kremlin said it would host the first ever Russia-Africa summit in October in the Black Sea resort of Sochi. Putin and Egypt’s president, Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, will chair the event. About 50 African leaders are due to attend. The aim is to foster political, economic and cultural cooperation."

Which essentially means that this October, watch for a summit in Sochi to talk about Africa. Hosted by Russia. Putin and al-Sisi of Egypt will chair the event. The leaked document suggested elsewhere that Russia feels confident with the friendship of the regime in Egypt. I'll bet that al-Sisi knows what's best to do when dealing with Putin. And in other bits, it showed Russian involvement in EVERY election on the African continent, including South Africa.

Quite informative.
Thank you.

Putin knows he cant compete with capitalism so he is attempting to put another Soviet Union together. The Soviet Union was Russia and a bunch of small satellite countries paying tribute into Russia.
Now the satellites he is working on are in Africa and the Middle East. It is all Putin's attempt to revive the Soviet empire.
I dont think it is a coincidence that these 2 African countries are listed as combatants in Gog/Magog.
One more example of Bible prophesy falling into place precisely with world events.

It can’t fall into place soon enough for me. I don’t have any patience waiting for the rapture. Let’s get this party started. I want to see Jesus my Redeemer.:smile2

This is huge, considering Sudan's involvement in Ezekiel 38. At some point in the near future, an evil thought will enter Gog's mind and that is to launch a surprise attack on Israel.

“Thus says the Lord God: On that day, jthoughts will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil scheme 11 and say, ‘I will go up against kthe land of unwalled villages. I will fall upon lthe quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates,’ (Ezekiel 38:10-22)

I believe oil $ will be the "hook" of Gog/Magog but the anti semitism of Islam will play into this equation a lot.
My guess is that the Russkies will be successful in both Sudan and Libya. If only Putin would read and maybe even believe the Bible he would know he is signing his own death warrant.
