Typical but understandable on last sentence.I agree. What I don’t understand is what future? Our country is tanking because of the bumbler and his handlers. The coming recession will make it very difficult to own a home, if you can find one for sale that isn’t already priced out of reach and because there’s not many for sale, they actually start bidding on the property without even seeing it! Rent has gone through the roof, if you can find a place open. Prices for food, fuel, power, water, and the basics are out of control. I know I sound like “Debbie Downer” but this is what this generation is facing. Frankly, I would not trade places with them for any amount of money!
In NC, the housing market has hit the housing market that I grew up with in Northern CA. And then getting married isn’t in style anymore, so move in together and then children, all wrong, but accepted like homosexual, LGBTQ’s, homosexual pastors, marriage, ad nauseam…. I am so glad that I don’t have an young children that are school age and one of my granddaughters goes to a legitimate Christian school where her dad works as a teacher! The other, …..a long story and not a good one. I can’t imagine sending them off to public school that’s become a sewer. And faith? If you can find a Bible teaching church you have found a treasure! When we first moved out here in the early 80’s, this was the part of the Bible Belt! Churches were Bible teaching houses of worship that weren’t afraid of offending members by telling them the truth about fire and brimstone and the hell that awaits those who refuse to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior!
I remember going to the grocery store and on Sunday, the meat was all covered up until after 1:00 PM, if then. Stores didn’t sell any alcohol on Sundays and the ABC store wasn’t open. Liquor sales where I grew up, were sold in any grocery or convenience store - still are. This area was so alien, but in a good way! Now, this same area has turned into living just like the place where I grew up. There’s not a lot of difference, although we are still not the way they are now, thank You Lord!
I hear more and more young adults say that they are Christians and believe in the Rapture, but they want to live their lives first, then let Jesus return for them!
