Russia-China ties will be the big story of 2022 - analysis
A new report in the Russian press has said that Russia and China cooperated very well in 2021.

Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a New Year greeting to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Friday. The report was carried in Russia’s Tass News. “In that telegram he expressed great satisfaction with the development of Chinese-Russian relations,” the report says. It is one example of how Moscow and Beijing are increasingly coordinating their policies and forming an alliance. The goal is to create a multi-polar world and remove the vestiges of US hegemony that have existed since the 1990s. With the US exit from Afghanistan, Russia is also saying it could recognize the Taliban, according to Sergei Lavrov. The “decision to recognize the Taliban government depends on their fulfillment of promises,” Lavrov says. This matters because China and Russia could coordinate on Iran and also on Afghan issues.

We have enjoyed freedom (bought by those that came before us) for so long that this generation simply thinks this is the way it is all around the world. They cannot fathom that their are evil leaders that would love to enslave them and thus feel no compunction to see it and fight against it. They allow people like Biden and his ilk to rule vs a leader that would put freedom as a premium and in front of all they do. It’s probably endemic to us as humans.

It's called the SCO for Shanghai Cooperative Organization. It includes Russia, China, Turkey, Pakistan and more recently IRAN and AFGHANISTAN

The goal is to create a multi-polar world and remove the vestiges of US hegemony that have existed since the 1990s.

That is why the SCO was formed.

With the US exit from Afghanistan, Russia is also saying it could recognize the Taliban, according to Sergei Lavrov. They already are. China was into Afghanistan as the US was leaving. WHY?

Well it's not all world politics

It's what Afghanistan sits on. One of the worlds richest deposits of various "rare earth minerals" which matter because they are vital for computer chips and batteries for cell phones and lap tops and more.

China is moving in on Taiwan to control their production of computer chips because they produce most of the world supply.

Add that up with their hopes to have mines up and running in Afghanistan (paying the Taliban for the privilege) .

Toss in China's plans to cover the world in 5 G (Huawei), to control the world's seaports and create a new Silk Road (the Belt and Road thing) then the war they are waging in the Himalayas, the takeover of Israel's seaport, the fight to control the South China Sea all begin to make sense.

Russia is working to control western Europe via oil, while China is focused on computer chips.
