Russia accuses United States of inciting Ukraine to escalate the war

I don't have a dog in this fight between these two corrupt governments (Ukraine & Russia). Up until the last couple of days I acknowledged that Ukraine could legitimately argue that Russia is the agressor since they are the ones that have been invaded, however this week's proclamation by Ukraine that they will park tanks in Red Square (Moscow) clearly indicates agression by Ukraine (Red Square has never been Ukrainian territory whereas Ukraine has been part of Russia in times past).

So what is Ukraine supposed to do? Just sit back and let Putin take over, without a fight? No, if somebody
forces themselves into my house, I'm going to forceably push back and if that means I've got to park myself in their living room, you'd better believe I'm going to do it. I don't blame the Ukraine one little bit. I hope they park their tanks in Moscow right in Putin's driveway.

I don't believe the poster was implying that Ukraine should not fight back , but that they are not innocent with their own provacations .

Correct. I believe every country has a right to defend their own territory. However if you change your goal from defense to invading and capturing your opponents capitol, you are now an invader as well. Even if Ukraine has believed all along that they would like to put tanks in Red Square, this is the first time I have heard officials publicly state this. I believe this was a strategic mistake and will just serve as red meat for the propaganda machine in Russia and her allies. Russia is likely to now scream "see, we had to invade them because they were planning to invade us" (not an accurate statement, but it has propaganda and morale value within Russia).

And the president of the Ukraine can always point his finger back at Putin and remind the world, Putin started it all.
