LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The City of Louisville has reached a settlement with the family of Breonna Taylor, the EMT who was fatally shot in her sleep on March 13 by officers executing a no-knock warrant, WAVE reported.

The dollar amount was not immediately available, but WAVE reports it reaches into the millions of dollars and is expected to be one of the largest settlements following an officer-involved shooting in the city's history.

The agreement includes numerous police reforms, some of which include officer accountability and changes to methods in which warrants are executed.

During the March 13 encounter, Taylor's boyfriend Kenneth Walker shot Sgt. Jon Mattingly as the couple's home was raided.

Officials initially charged Walker with attempted murder, but that charge was later dropped.

Mattingly was reassigned after struggling to overcome his injuries. Det. Brett Hankison was terminated for "blindly" opening fire into Taylor's home from outside.

Myles Cosgrove was the other officer who opened fire.

A grand jury will review a criminal case to determine if any of the officers involved will fa

Listening to live conference on this. The Taylor lawyer Crump is really smearing police. He’s pushing the idea that blacks are targets of police, in general. I’m so mad at how he’s painting law enforcement

Wow. I do believe in justice. I feel for the grieving family. But they are continuing the same rhetoric that this is all part of a national systematic racism that started in 1619 and has continued since. They are vilifying law enforcement as though the purpose of their existence is to hunt down and “ murder” Black people. This is outrageous. I feel bad that anyone of any race to be wrongfully killed by anyone even police but what they are doing is trying to keep the fire burning of Black people being victims of police brutality in every case involving police and criminal suspects who engage and if a black person is killed. What about a situation where a black man were to kill a black police officer, what is there stance on that? I so sick of people using race to justify wrong. Racism does exist it always has. But Black people are not exclusively targeted here. Jews,Asians, Hispanics, and go to a different non white country and find racism against whites. It’s everywhere. But to place the problem on law enforcement altogether is wrong

I agree with you. And honestly and sadly, there is also racism against whites in this country as well, and it's getting worse and worse by the day. Racism is evil and it comes all different shapes and sizes.

No decent human being is okay with a bad cop. Good people want justice. But to me, it seems like an agenda is being pushed.

Some of these should watch/hear Mark Robinson's speech at the Blexit Conference. (on YouTube).
He knocked that one out of the park.

It’s so sad that the people with the racist ideology act as though they speak for all African Americans. They don’t. There are so many who don’t feel that they are targets of systematic racism. It’s all a narrative that Democrats have pushed every election year. And yet the Democrats don’t even take any responsibility for their part in racism. The founders of KKK were Democrats, the founder of Abortion planned parenthood was a Democrat with strong racist views and formed the planned parenthood as a means to eliminate the black race through eugenics. The. Democrats have been the worst example of racism yet here they are playing Savior to African Americans while they are painted as victims of systematic racism

It's how they get "minority" votes every election. And it's why they don't do anything to help those "minorities". If they did they would lose those votes.

That's the Dem MO every election cycle. "The world is bad. The other party is bad. We can fix everything for you."

Of course that's a theme that the Republicans use too.

That's why I tune out all the election rhetoric and ads during election run ups. They are all dishonest.

It’s all about making people feel “ need” or “ dependency “ on government. As though it’s a grooming for dependency on the NWO to survive with that mark
