Pyramid-shaped UFOs spotted by Navy may be the best 'the world has ever seen,

There's gotta be some age cut off for people to know who Frederic March and Tuesday Weld are. I'm guessing the high 50’s at least.
I am 48 and I actually know who they are. However, I did grow up in the country and did not have cable until I went to college. We would "go to town" and rent a VCR and a bunch of old movies every weekend.

I was also the kid who went off to college and spent the entire first week there watching MTV because I had never seen such craziness before! Naive was not a strong enough word to describe me.

The last time I had tv was when I lived with my parents... so my children grew up without tv completely. We were all visiting my dad in Oregon. We'd driven down from Alaska. My mom had already passed away. My oldest daughter was maybe 10 years old so the other three would have been approx 8, 6, and 4 years old. The kids were watching my dad's tv.

When a commercial would come on I watched my oldest daughter get furious and she'd say, "who changed the channel?". She looked at the other kids as if she was willing to do serious harm to whomever the offender was. Each would deny changing the channel, the original programming would return, and things settled down until the next commercial came and then the scene would repeat itself. I later described the concept of the tv shows breaking for commercials to my daughter. My oldest couldn't wrap her mind around the idea at first, but eventually came to understand the concept.

That is so funny about your daughter! :laugh Commercials are annoying enough on their own but to not understand them at all must have caused her extreme irritation. Do your kids watch TV today? We really only watch sports at our house now (3 boys). But even that is getting hard to watch as it has become so political and such a huge promotional ground for LGBTQXYZ.

What was Trump referring to Rocky?
Honestly, I don't know. Perhaps Trump thinks he can seize control of the House and Senate away from the Democrats, or that he can still be reinstated as president, if not win an election in 2024. But unless they can force the current state and federal government administrations to hold honest elections, do away with Dominion, then there's no chance.
