Putin on judgement day

I think we all can relate when it comes to our "own" sense of justice when it comes to evil people like Putin or serial killers and what have you who we desire to see be punished in Hell. But if we could look into Hell for just a moment, I think our perspectives would change instantly. In fact, all sin no matter how big or small will separate us from a Holy God.

We all deserve everlasting destruction(separation from God), including me because I know how wicked my heart is. God's mercy is beyond our understanding and His love for the Lost is amazing. I am always reminded of the song Amazing Grace because God saved a wretch like me.

It's hard but I pray that Putin and the Hillary's of the world will be saved before it's too late. Hell is no joke and once a person is there, their fate is sealed forever.

This is one of my troubles don't want these people to be saved.

I absolutely understand about this and it is a struggle for me as well. I think because we very rarely see evil people "get what they have coming to them" in this fallen world I set myself up in my head as judge, jury and executioner in my head and my heart, and how I would relish that last role, I want these people not just to be sorry they hurt an innocent, but be sorry they were ever born to begin with.

But then I have to admit (thankfully) that God's ways are not my ways and that he sees all sides of a multifaceted situation which I am not privy to. I have to stand back and let God be God and have faith that his will, not my will, be done and that it will be perfect justice.

I am thankful every day that I have a divine mediator in the form of our savior Jesus, and that he would shed his blood for such a hard hearted man as I.

Putin is not beyond redemption but would someone as selfish and evil as him even desire redemption I wonder? It seems like the more evil people are the more blind they are to that very fact.

God is fair and just and, doesn't want anyone to be lost forever.

His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts.

Our human mind and sense of justice is not the same as the Father's is.

Remember, all sin, is disobedience to God and, if he were to refuse salvation to any of these despots and dictators if they come to Him in a fully repentant, humbled, genuine manner, then we're in danger of the same justice.

I understand where you're coming from though, but Jesus said to forgive our enemies and, whilst this is very difficult for us, in fact it proves how much He loves us, as He forgives all of us of everything, just for the asking.

He even went to the Cross to guarantee it, after being horrifically tortured and falsely accused and tried.

Amen , reminds me of that parable about the wicked servant of how we should show the same mercy that we've been shown towards others

Also, keep in mind that the media engages in massive lies. Many things attributed to Putin turned out to be done by the Ukranian themselves, the Neonazis. They set up near schools so that the schools will be harmed when they are attacked. Actors have been used to portray fake crimes. The hospital that was attacked had been emptied a week earlier. One of the women acting as a victim turned out to also have acted in a different disguise in another "attack."

I don't doubt it but at the same time, I just cannot wrap my head around cultures that fight like this:

"They set up near schools so that the schools will be harmed when they are attacked."

It's the same kind of garbage move that, itself should be considered a war crime; it's something Islamic fighters would pull; setting up their base of ops in a school/hospital, inside a mosque and then crying about it when they get levelled by retaliatory fire after they snipe/launch attacks from them.

My heart is with the good, normal people of Ukraine who are fighting for their homes and families, I know their govt is slimy and crooked but I think the liberal media really overplays the "Neo-Nazi/Azov Battalion" card. On lib dominated media like reddit you would be surprised (or perhaps not) at how many people actually see Russia as "not the total bad guy" or are even rooting for Russia.

Perhaps our own (Slimy and crooked) govt should make further $$$/hardware aid to the Ukrainian Govt contingent upon disbanding Azov Battalion? They may be good fighters but they are a huge Public relations deadweight on the world's sympathy for the people of Ukraine.

Know what you mean, but I'm not judging them, I just don't want to see them in heaven, it's not up to me, who am I to judge if someone is evil, I can't see them ever wanting redemption, its like the people in tribulation that no matter what happens they will not repent hope this is making sense. Well anyway this is what I'm having trouble with.

Say something Righteous and Wholesome...
Perhaps the greatest blessing is the fire of the Bema seat, where one's life is examined and all self works are burned up,
leaving only the selfless things we did in Christ as gold and jewels...
Meanwhile satan is yelling "But remember when...."

And Christ holds out His nail pierced hand to each redeemed sinner and says, " No."

I don't think we'll ever forget the cost Jesus paid for us, but the remorse over what we have done
will be eclipsed with joy and praise over His act of love and the salvation it wrought.
