PENCE CANCELS PLANNED NEW HAMPSHIRE VISIT, CALLED BACK TO WHITE HOUSE
By REUTERS

US Vice President Mike Pence abruptly canceled a planned trip to New Hampshire on Tuesday after being called back to the White House for an unspecified reason, White House officials said.

Pence's chief of staff, Marc Short, told Reuters there was no emergency after news reports that the vice president's plane was called back for an "emergency."

"The vice president was called back to the White House but there's no cause for alarm and we’ll reschedule the trip soon," Short said. He said Pence's plane had never actually left Washington.

The White House would not say what issue arose to keep Pence in place.

"Something came up that required the vice president to remain in DC There is no cause for concern. Everybody's fine," White House spokesman Hogan Gidley told reporters.

The time in Iran is 7 1/2 hours ahead of EST.
7:30pm EST right now equals 4am Iran Time.
It seems a lot of air operations happen at night.

Side note: Sean Osborne at Eschatology Today had a report today saying that Israel has been flying their F-35's all over the top of Iran and Iran didn't even know it at the time. Their Russian S-300 systems didn't see them.

That's assuming that all this is Iran related.

I would expect we'll know before the week is out.

Maybe just coincidence, but in today's climate, with Iran's recent nonsense interfering with shipping, Israel bombing a few of the Iranian piles of weapons yesterday or the day before, and so forth, if we are going to see anything, it's likely to do with removing Iran's ability to make the rest of us glow in the dark.

And Russia would want to step very carefully AROUND that potential pile of diplomatic stickyness. Because they are Iran's "ally" but they aren't ready to go to all out head to head war with anyone over Iran's annoying tendency to threaten the planet with nuclear weapons. And they really don't like to share their Syrian sandbox toys with others. And Iran is busy encroaching on their new sandbox.

Russia and Putin aren't dumb. They know as well as the rest of us, that once Iran starts lobbing bombs, Russia has no guarantee of safety either. After Big and Little Satans are dealt with by Iran the Iranians would start to work on the rest of the world till they killed everyone else off, then they'd do themselves in in their quest to help the Mahdi out of his well.

Putin's stance on Israel bombing sites in Syria that Iran is CLEARLY using to threaten Israel with is informative.

He might put out nasty sounding press releases to show displeasure with Israel. He might be jamming a bit of GPS on planes coming in and out of Israel but that is normal push back from Russia sending a message that they aren't happy but that's about it.

They clear out when Israel gives them the 3 minute advance warning, and they warn the Iranians and whoever isn't fast enough, gets bombed into smithereens but they don't mind too terribly much if Israel is busy weakening their main rival to the Syrian oil wealth.

Putin doesn't want to share Syria with anyone. Iran is busily shoving in there. And Israel isn't going to invade Syria because they don't want it. They don't mind if Russia is there.

So my take is that Russia is probably looking at doing something minor to signal to Iran that they are still best buddies, but letting the IDF and the Americans take care of business. I really don't think they'd want to escalate, but you never know.

Yeah, I'd imagine the market for the S-300 is tanking a bit right now, if the Israeli's can prance in and out of Iran's airspace without so much as a peep out of all that nice fancy new Russian equipment.

That will tick Russia off, but probably also send them back to the drawing board.

Another REALLY BIG reason not to send any F-35s to Turkey.
I wish I could give that 3 or more thumbs up. You said it! The Turkish situation is gently deteriorating to the north, ever since Erdogan lost his second try at elections and got even worse results. The economy, the politics, it's all in flux in Turkey and what if Erdogan is better than what arises next. (he is still the supreme leader, he just lost a few key areas of support)

To me a big tip-off would be if we hear about any B-2 Stealth aircraft being deployed there. Unless I missed it I haven't heard of any.
It's capable of carrying 2 BU-57 MOP bunker busters. A low radar signature and over 600 mph speed. Faster than the B-52's

Quick search implies the B-2's don't need to be in the area. They can fly from MO, where they evidently are based, get refueled along the way and hit their targets.
