A few years ago I saw a Denish D'Sousa Documentary (Sorry for the misspelling of his name). Anyway, he pointed out that Fascism is actually far left wing, NOT right wing. whether you are talking about Hitler's Nazi Third Reich or Musselini's dictatorship in Italy. I think the far left must think people will just blindly go along with whatever they say if it is printed or on TV. Think for a minute what the acronym NAZI stands for; "NATIONAL SOCIALISM." Hitler's national socialism was very close to the Russian Marxism of Lenin and Stalin. Both operated by taking over and controlling the major businesses and industries and a dictatorial control over people's lives. The main difference between Soviet Marxism socialism and Nazi socialism was that Soviet socialism's aim was to take in all countries as an international movement, whereas Nazi socialism's aim was only for the Germanic Arian peoples and regarded all others as an inferior class of peoples. Ironically, even though both socialist movements were far left wing, they were at odds with each other and sought to destroy each other.
Trump's conservative populist movement MAGA, Is completely opposite of socialism whether Soviet Marxist or NAZI fascism. To me, today's far left progressive Dem's are the socialists. Are they also fascists?

There's a book on this topic. In it he goes through the history of socialism, particularly the fascist brand. He also laid out all the planks of the National Socialists and how similar they are to what was called liberalism in the 1980s-2000s, right down to their love of vegetarianism.

A lot of Progressives from the 1920s and 1930s admired Mussolini and Hitler. Fascism seemed so efficient and modern to them with its joining of big business and government.

Today's antifascists are extremely fascist themselves. Antifa is America's Brown Shirts. However, they throw the label "fascist" on anyone to the right of Obama to try to make their violent acts look justified, to put us on the defensive and to "other" us.

Another thing is the lib socialists constant use or misuse of 'our democracy." But their use of the term is you must not only give them you ears, and stage, but you must act on what they want or they will act up. Socialist/ Marxists always say they are "democratic." But their vision of "democracy" is like a spoiled child who voices what he feels he should have, that candy bar, and screams and rebels until he gets it. That is what the lib socialists do, they don't just demonstrate, but act up and destroy until they get what they want. Just for the record: the USA is not a democracy. There is nothing in the founding documents, Constitution, Declaration fo Independence, or Federalist Papers about our being or becoming a democracy. The founding faithers rightly feared democracy; they saw democracy as just what it is: mob rule. We were intended to be a Constitutional Republic, with freedom of expression, liberty to live our lives as we see fit as long as it is lawful and moral. You will notice that these far left Dems never seem to use the word "liberty", just "our democracy." That is because they fear true biblical God given liberty. They instead want what they say, OUR meaning their democracy not for MAGA constitutional conservatives.
I don't know if you have ever watched this cable channel called, "Free Speech TV." They are not too well-known and I hope they stay that way. You may be able to get them on UTube or some podcast. They are so far left they have fallen off into the Pacific Ocean. Their logo depicts the Statue of Liberty, but instead of lady liberty holding a touch, she is holding a microphone. The Idea is that you MUST listen to and give airtime to their ultra left socialist nut jobs. And unless you listen to them you are denying them freedom of speech. I even saw a show on this FSTV last night with a man explaining how socialism is just the first step; that we must also work towards our ultimate goal: which is the Marxist utopian communist state for everyone. The AOC stuff we hear is just the tip of the iceberg with them: they go much farther left.

By coincidence, this quote came up in my feed from PragerU. It's from Ayn Rand, who of course was an atheist, but at least she had her eyes open about communist and socialism since she was from Russia.

You're so right about the Founders' opinion of democracy. There is a lot in their writings about the dangers of "the mob". And, oh my, have we seen the mob in action the last couple of years. Of course, the mob doesn't merely consist of the people rioting; it also consists of all those who have realized that they can vote themselves other people's money.
