I'm just disappointed for every day that passes and we're still here. We are in that season (the Bible tells us we are). I used to date set based on "data". Too disappointing for me! LOL! So, it's just everyday for me. One day I'll be right. Even so Lord Jesus come.

I've never been big on the OWG as I don't think we'll be here to experience it. But since we'll experience the rapture, well, you know! :hyper

Andy, really good discussion topic though.

No matter what eventually happens, I hope its soon, the suspense is killing me….:)

Im ready to fly away, but still have work to finish.
The suspense is killing me too. Just tonight on the news there was talk about the Ukrainian government wanting the American government to nuke Russia. Where does this particular State of affairs stand with the creation OWG?

You may have a valid point here. There is so much apostasy going on in the American churches that the population of true believers is shrinking by the day. It makes you wonder if we will really be missed after all. In Revelation the Church of Philadelphia is the only church that is promised to be kept from the hour of testing that will come upon the entire world.

Revelation 3:10-11 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown."
It's like the Christians are being refined. Jesus said something about gold being refined until it's pure.

At one time there were a lot of believing Christians and now with all of the changes going on and the demonic forces doing their dirty work that Christians are becoming weaker and therefore are no longer true believers. That type of change certainly diminishes the number of people being raptured. It's like Jesus is using this time to do a one last once over to make sure that all of the Christians that are worthy will be raptured. But on the other hand if you were once a Christian and you're going to an apostate Church and have changed your beliefs, are you still saved? Are you still going to heaven?

I like the idea that Jesus is refining all of us in these final days. He wants us without spot or wrinkle and right now there are a lot of spots and wrinkles out there that need to get fixed or taken care of before we go home. Jesus is waiting for the right time to get all of his ironing done.

A Christian can later on backslide, become more carnal, even choose to walk away for a time, but a Christian can never lose salvation.

Perhaps you were referring to those who never were Christians?

I'm one who believes that once saved you can't lose your salvation. There are many masquerading as Christians who've never been born again.

I thought He already said "It Is Finished". In terms of the ironing. I think the nails were iron?

I listened to a end times teacher today, one whom many of us have quoted, and whose views are supported by most end times noted teachers. They stated that the global reset is coming, getting closer, but will happen after the church is long gone. Scripture does not support that we will still be here when the OWG is firmly established. Scripture does give great detail about the OWG in the book of Revelation.

I truly hope the forming of the OWG is even closer than I believe because that means the final boarding call is that much closer.

I know, Im a broken record on this, so be it.

Scripture tells us that the OWG and the 10 Kingdoms will be in place before the man of perdition is revealed. That's in Daniel. The Church will depart before the man of perdition is revealed. Thus the Word does in fact support the possibility of the Church being here still when the OWG is firmly established.

What you say is true, it is a possibility that the Church will be here during the OWG. However, a common theory is that the Rapture will be the event that creates enough calamity to be used to usher in the OWG. Only God knows for sure. We all speculate on the order of some of these events.

Yes, the OWG will form after the rapture, and in accordance with scripture, before the AC can be revelaed. Anything else I believe is fear mongering, but thats just my humble opinion.

Rapture, gap in time before the tribulation, in that gap, OWG forms. Sounds straight forward to me.

Im not living in fear of a OWG, He wont let me.

You can thumbs down all ya want brother, its not changing my view.

I sure hope we’re gone before the OWG is made official. And with the way things are moving, I don’t think it will be long before that happens.
So do I sister, and I think its a very strong probability we will be. I simply cant understand how the OWG will be allowed to be fully formed while the Holy Spirit is still restraining. Therefore, when He departs, we depart, and IMO, thats when all things predicted in Daniel and the book of Revelation will begin to be fulfilled. How fast will this happen after the rapture, only He knows.

For those new to the forum, please remember we are one big family of believers, and just like at holiday dinners, when families gather together, disagreements happen. TT and I have been exchanging posts for almost a decade, and we occasionally will disagree, and we might even take it personal for a few moments, but we’re forever brothers in Christ, just getting a little crankier as we age (but TT is older). :biggrin2
