One second after you die....

Death is not a wall, it's a doorway. People do not end in oblivion, they relocate to another dimension -- Heaven or Hell. A tunnel? Since Heaven and Hell are different dimensions spanning enormous distances from Earth (a great gulf fixed), the tunnel may be what they call in science fiction a "wormhole", a means of interstellar, or in this case inter-dimensional travel from one point to a place outside the universe. The Norse had their myths, but some hidden truths may be gleaned from it. They believed in a "rainbow bridge" that was a gateway to all the "nine realms" of the universe, calling it BIFROST. I took their term and turned it into an acronym, rendering B.I.F.R.O.S.T. as Bilateral Interdimensional Foray Running Over Space-Time. I believe we who are believers are assigned a guardian angel to husband be with us thru life, and to escort us into the presence of Almighty God. Perhaps saints who have earned special rewards (martyrs?) take a ride there on chariots of fire.
As Indescribed in my thread , Jim definitely saw someone, so I think of Rocky's doorway as a veil.
Unless the door is wide open...

We don't know who may be reading different posts on here and this is a very good discussion in answer to the question - what happens one second after you die?

What happens?

2 times every week I take my 6 year old granddaughter to a indoor trampoline park. Being the Fitbit junky that I am, Im always walking around inside, getting my steps in. While walking, I like to watch the kids playing. Its really nice to watch kids who seem to be coming inside this fun place for the first time. As they enter from the ramp, it must look really huge for the small kids. The music is loud, different colored lights are blinking, kids hollering and laughing, the sheer joy is the constant facial expression for these kids.

Thats what I think it will be like for me. One second Im in this body, and the next Im experiencing a whole new world, Heaven. Bright colors everywhere, everybody smiling as they welcome me, no troubles anymore, nothing but sheer bliss. Who knows, maybe I will go off jumping like the kids at the trampoline park. With my glorified body, I wont even need the trampolines to bounce around wherever I feel like going. But unlike the kids at the trampoline park, there is no time limit, I will stay there forever.

Yes, I enter the Kingdom like a kid.

I was with my aunt the last few days before she died of emphysema from years of smoking cigarettes. A slow way to go, but she was very clear minded when awake, but would periodically be semi comatose and unable to arouse her. Then, in a couple hours she would be back and lucid and clear minded.

I asked her one time, “Where are you when you’re not awake?” She said she’s out at “the farm.” Her grandparents had a farm-in east central Iowa that was the site for many family get togethers and reunions. She was out there for a party, but was out on the periphery. She said she was meeting many people she had always heard about, but never met because they had died before she was born or was a small child. Each time she came back to the farm she was closer into the”party”.

One time when she came back from a period of not wakening easily. I asked her where she had been. She told me that she had learned why things had had to happen in her life and it made sense now. She’d had periods that weren’t very happy, but now seemed quiet and accepting of them because she understood why things happened the way they had.

I asked her how she got to the farm, she waved her hand towards a corner of the room by the ceiling and told me it just started to appear there and filled in until she was at the farm. Another time when we were just quietly talking because her roommate was napping, she said,” The room is very crowded .” There were just 3 of us physically there, but evidently there were quite a few more unseen visitors.

I, also, was with my dad in hospice and noted he was reaching his hand up to the side of his bed when appearing to be asleep. I have the feeling there quite a few visitors in that room too.

I think that when a person I’d very close to death, they can see things of both sides of the veil we call death. The screen that prevents us from seeing another dimension is very thin or maybe their spirit is able to go back and forth between the two dimensions.

Anyway, we are told in the Bible that Jesus prepares a place for us and it’s going to be a BIG party when we go home to Him...... What a day that will be!

Moosejive, when my grandma was dying, she would be “out” but humming music. She’d wake up and ask if I heard the “church music”. All the while counting stitches in the blanket with her fingers. She waited for me to go outside to smoke and when I came back she was gone Home.

Surely the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Its a heartbeat away. Know Jesus, know peace. No Jesus, no peace.
