Blessed Hope-Prepare To Fly!
Your post made me think. When someone makes me think, that's a good thing :smile

The Bible tells us to flee from evil and be salt and light and spread The Gospel, so we all do this in the way we are called and comfortable :smile

I've been around unbelievers so much that I often forget that many Christians are uncomfortable around unbelievers for various reasons. Not all unbelievers live a horrible lifestyle, but chances seem to be higher among unbelievers, except in places where a liberal denomination is very prevalent. Then, it seems to be about the same, which is not good.

Where I am now, there are many muslims. The women, who wear traditional muslim attire, are walking billboard advertisements for being lost and in dire need of The Gospel. The way into the muslim communities here is via the women, so some Christian women do what we can to share The Gospel with them without imperiling the muslim women's safety.

OTOH, I agree that if being around a specific unbeliever/unbelieving group makes one uncomfortable for whatever reason, or may cause one to sin or give the appearance of impropriety, staying away/apart is likely a good thing.

If I gave offense or caused you to worry, I'm sorry :hug
I understand about sharing the :bible gospel, but what I mean is I don't run around with unbelievers. The :biblesays whoever wishes to be a friend of the world, makes himself an enemy with God.

Being around unbelievers doesn't mean I'm their friend (other than in the sense of sharing The Gospel, being a good neighbor, etc.). When I was still a cop, the nature of the job meant I spent a lot of time around unbelievers.

There is a difference of being around unbelievers than going to a movie, restaurant, shopping, etc. I was also in law enforcement a Security Guard in my 20's.
