By Joshua Q. Nelson | Fox News

2024 presidential candidate Tim Scott shares where he stands on abortion and Iowa's expected six-week ban on 'Your World.' A North Carolina college religious studies professor and ordained minister is reportedly on a "mission" to tackle the abortion issue to "shift the cultural paradigm that abortion is sin," according to the Religious News Service [RNS].

Rev. Rebecca Todd Peters is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church and a professor of religious studies at Elon University. Peters’ other work includes leading the Abortion and Religion project. An advocate of reproductive rights, Peters shared her own personal story of getting two abortions.

Female reverend is the first oxymoron. Disobey in one area leads to all sorts of disobedience in others. And I can see why. We women are usually more easily swayed by our emotions and desire to be 'compassionate' but that compassion can be false and misapplied.

"And I don't feel any guilt". Methinks thou dost protest too much. I had to have a d&c to deal with an incomplete miscarriage and I was permanently injured from the process. Why on earth would anyone willingly subject that to themselves??? Never mind ending the life of a precious baby??? I would give anything to have my lost babies back. You would think a reverend would know to trust God to take care of the seemingly impossible situation.

I tried looking up more information about her. According to an article from 2021, she is married and has 2 children. A different article says 2 daughters. Can't find anything about husband---no name or what he does for a living. In a different article, she refers to unborn babies as prenates, and said they are not accorded personhood until their first breath after their birth. No wonder she doesn't think abortion kills a person, they aren't people, just "prenates". She also doesn't agree the sex belongs only in marriage between husband and wife.

ItIsFinished!

Blood bought child of the King of kings.
Total fraud masquerading as a person of God. She may find a millstone around her neck one day.
Not only that , but to use the title "Reverend" .
Why??
That reference only refers to God, Psalm 111:9, and only once.
No one should EVER use the name "Reverend".

She is an evil fraud using God/church as a platform to spew forth her wicked agenda, like many others.
Absolutely horrid and disgusting.

This article is very disturbing on many levels.
Feminism and killing babies are 100% of the Devil.

Elon University. Explains a lot. The southern example of far left liberal art colleges. Have lots of family in central NC and it is full of wokeness. That includes religious institutions and I use those two words very intentionally. The kind of religion that is very man-made and man-centered in its doctrine.
