Even the frigid temperatures couldn’t keep angry South Dakotans away. Despite the blistering, nine-degree cold, as many as 150 people gathered in the snow outside the 2023 Midwest Gender Identity Summit in Sioux Falls Friday morning to protest Sanford Health’s unwelcome presence in their state. Standing by snow drifts, with a long convoy of cars heading to join them, organizer Adam Broin insisted, “This is NOT South Dakota!” But according to a bombshell report by NRO reporter Nate Hochman, it may already be South Dakota, thanks to the transgender movement’s unlikely ally: Republican Governor Kristi Noem.

For Noem, who’s been trying to rehabilitate her image for 2024 after a series of conservative betrayals, the timing of Hochman’s piece couldn’t be worse. Two years removed from her shocking veto on a girls’ sports bill — and three from her behind-the-scenes death blow to a ban on child-mutilating surgery — Noem was hoping she could put the questions about her bona-fides behind her. Instead, she’s staring down another career-crushing controversy over her cozy relationship to one of the largest providers of puberty blockers and sex change surgeries in the Midwest.

Of course, the ties between Sanford Health and the state’s establishment Republicans haven’t exactly been a secret in South Dakota. What has come as a surprise is just how deep those political tentacles run — often, as Hochman points out, dictating policies at complete odds with the states’ social conservative roots.

“I think it’s impossible to understate or to overstate how powerful Sanford Health is in South Dakota,” Hochman told Family Research Council President Tony Perkins on “Washington Watch” Thursday. “It’s a $7.5 billion company.” They employ almost seven times more people than the second largest employer in South Dakota, he explained. “And they fund the campaigns of a lot of Republican leaders in the state, including a bunch of the Republicans who sit on the Senate Health and Human Services Committee, which is the committee that killed the bill” protecting minors from gender transition procedures......

I think it's these "Health" centers, etc. that need addressing and focus on. This is a major reason why this stuff is being encouraged, it's all about the MONEY $$$$. Some of these medical companies are salivating at the money they think they're going to make while encouraging young people to destroy their bodies. In listening to a show about this, apparently there's some heavy lobbying that's going on and of course politicians are looking at the donations they will be getting.

It seems that some of the pharmaceutical and medical companies are really behind the push for this stuff. Of course who knows how they might also be connected to online advertising, social media push with our kids as well.

The people of South Dakota are NOT behind this stuff and unfortunately leadership is not reflecting nor properly representing them and their voice.

The National Review bombshell report referred to in the Washington Stand said that Sanford, the largest health system in rural America, was linked to the failure of House Bill 1217, which would have banned males from being in women's sports. Apparently people in South Dakota were not happy. What's been discovered is that Sanford had worked behind the scenes, and with Noem's office to kill this bill. It seems the business interests of Sanford were greatly taken into consideration, heavily influencing the direction of this bill.

These lobbyists also were involved in shutting down a bill for conscience rights for medical practitioners who object to performing medical procedures they do not agree with, including abortions, sex-change operations, giving puberty blockers to kids, etc. It seems that this powerful, progressive business is getting in front of the will of the people and bypassing their representation and voice.

Even though Noem has done an about face with her position in regards to women's sports, her office was caught up in another controversy through the Dept of Health where they had a contract with The Transformation Project which has particular focus on gender confused youth. Apparently they engage in protests against legislation that provide more protective measures for children and sex change surgeries along with drugs.

It seems that when it's discovered there's connections with these kinds of groups and Noem brought to light, then she shuts things down.

And quite frankly, trust has been quite eroded.

:pray ing that common sense and true care for our children is put back into place along with God's protection of our kids despite the incredible greed for money pushing this stuff.

:pray
