There is not a socialist dictatorship that can feed its own people. This is due to inept govt control.

Sounds like many are deliberately set. They are also killing off animals in droves-- one article said a million chickens were put down over one case of avian flu.
Hey..the Native Americans put a dead fish in every hole they planted a corn seed in..fertilized the corn beautifully..I'm sure they set up watchers to make sure the wild animals stayed out of their corn fields..the Aztecs had what they called sanitation closets..Cortez and his men were fasinated by them..there were slaves to collect the human waste from the bottom of the closets (very early version of public bathrooms) and the slave would take said substance to thier fields and fertilize them with it..when I read this I thought wow...and where has the brain of the modern age gone?..probably to pot...

Also, another thought I have is in the tribulation famine and of course pestilences (diseases) is mentioned. We have that now so it is like we are getting a precursor to the tribulation. The tribulation will be much worse because the wrath of God will be poured out. Read in Revelation where the seals are opened and what happens. So glad to be a Christian that won't be here for that.
Yes..I believe our government is either setting these fires or paying a group to do it..just like I believe our government started the school shootings and mass murder incidents..and don't even get me started on what I think about 9/11..

Due to the natuer of birds of any and the transmissability of bird flu, if one chicken or turkey in a flock gets it, the whole flock has to be put down to prevent spread to other flocks. This is nothing new. This is standard agricultural practice and has been for a very, very long time.

I have no idea if cyberattacks could cause fires or not, but they can slow or stop production.
Cyberattacks could be originate from anywhere and could be coordinated or stand-alone. Russia or China could be involved as retaliation for economic sanctions. Also other countries and/or terrorist organizations and/or domestic terrorists.

I did a quick search on the Duck and discovered 40 percent of workers at poultry processing plants are foreign-born, a lot of illegal immigrants and migrant workers work in meat processing plants, and foreign countries, including China, own some meat processing plants. There have also been problems with enforcement of safety standards.

Minnesota fire kills thousands of chickens in poultry farmhouse
A fire has resulted in the death of thousands of chickens at Forsman Farms in Minnesota on Saturday.
The exact number of egg-laying chickens lost to the fire is unknown but expected to be in the tens of thousands. First responders arrived at the scene off Highway 12 after 10 p.m.
"Overnight, a fire destroyed one of our barns at our Howard Lake farm. No one was injured and we are grateful that first responders were quickly on scene to put out the fire," Forsman Farms spokesman Jon Austin said. "Unfortunately, chickens were lost because of the fire. We are evaluating the extent of the damage — which appears to be confined to a single structure — as well as investigating the cause of the fire."
Officials revealed that there was extensive damage to property.
The Wright County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the cause of the fire. However, it is believed to be an accident. One sergeant reported that there were roughly 200,000 chickens in the affected farmhouse.
This comes almost two months after a wave of bird flu began, resulting in the deaths of 22 million egg-laying chickens.
"The index for meats, poultry, fish, and eggs increased 14.3 percent over the last year, the largest 12-month increase since the period ending May 1979," according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Most recently, the index for eggs increased 10.3% in April.
