Nisan 14/15

Say something Righteous and Wholesome...
1981 is when Datsun became Nisan....
..oh thats Nissan....

From Tyndalebulletin:

The evidence points to Friday 3 April AD 33 as the date of the Crucifixion. This was Nisan 14 in the official Jewish calendar, thus Christ died at precisely the time when the Passover lambs were slain.

I believe Friday begins at sundown of our conventional Thursday. Thus Sunday morning, the 3rd day, is mid-way through the first day of the week in Jewish timekeeping.

Perhaps the experts can chime in now.

Thank you,

I have trouble with Friday simply because Jesus said "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." And Jesus cannot lie.

Since His burial was just before 6 PM on Nisan 14, with Nisan 15 starting the celebrated Passsover, then he would have been from Friday 6 PM to Saturday 6 PM as day 1.... and Saturday 6 PM to Sunday just before dawn when the empty grave was found by Mary...
That make a total of 2 nights and 1 day for Jesus to be in the heart of the earth.

Jesus said it would be 3.

I am looking for definitive proof that Nisan 14 was actually Wed. of 30 AD
