Welcome from Texas. Some years ago, my wife and I seriously considered moving to South Dakota. We were frustrated with work and just wanted a new start. Then winter came and I saw pictures of the north country. We decided to stay where we are.

Thanks! It's not always that bad. Some winters are mild.

WELCOME TO THE FORUMS !!!! I saw that you are enthralled with the song “Hallelujah” by Cohen. Do a search for “Hallelujah by sisters in Canada”, that was on YT this last Easter. It’s still there and is absolutely beautiful, with lyrics that are biblical. My SIL wanted that instrumental played at my brother’s funeral, and it was a tear-jerker. I bought the piano solo and play it every day and many times if I need to de-stress from the “world” for a few minutes.
Have you ever listened to Michael W. Smith’s “Shine On Us”? One of his best, and is so beautiful at a wedding.
Again, welcome from Tennessee!:welcome

Thank you, and yes, I am. I just LOVE the Pentatonix version, but I will look up the version you told me. Right now I'm listening to the MWS song you recommended. I really like it, and I have the CD that it's on, too. I'm a HUGE fan of his music, and have sung a few of his songs in church in the past. I like singing his songs and singing for the Lord. I dabble in the piano, but my thing is singing and playin the clarinet. I played in high school in the band. I liked it!

To de-stress my mind and soul, I listen to MWS a lot. His music makes me feel so much better! I also like to listen to the oldies from the 70's and 80's, especially the Bee Gees music.

Again, thanks for the welcome!
