New Apple glasses/goggles

I couldn't find the link to the news report I heard, but yesterday on a talk radio show the new glasses/goggles by Apple were discussed as being a "heads up display" of some type that projected everything available on your phone to headset that is worn like glasses but allows you to see as normal yet also allows the user to see to information.

Just what the world needs is something to distract people more than cell phones.

Going off of a google search, it sounds like they are expected to launch in 2025.

Google tried it about nine years ago with the Google Glass.

They were too expensive for most people and only a few niche early adopters picked them up.

I expect Apple's will flop in a similar manner.

Just another way to get tracked. Tech, AI, etc. is advanced enough now, someone could likely see what you're seeing/reading/looking at real-time when wearing said glasses/goggles.

The technology could have some great medical applications, especially for practitioners and patients in places without ready access to specialized care.
