Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu responded to Saturday night to allegations made against him by Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman and other senior government officials over the recent wave of terrorism. "Instead of fighting terrorism, Bennett's government of fraud and weakness is preoccupied with false briefings," Netanyahu wrote. "As usual, they forget the facts: Netanyahu was the one who ordered the elimination of Ahmed Jabari, the commander of Hamas' military wing, and Abu al-Ata, the senior commander of Islamic Jihad. Netanyahu ordered the extension of Operation Guardian of the Walls in order to try to eliminate [Yahya] Sinwar and Mohammed Deif, contrary to pressure from various elements in Israel."
