The projectiles were launched in an easterly direction from an inland area in the South Pyongan Province, the South's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said without providing further details, such as the type of the projectiles, flight range and maximum altitude.
"Our military is monitoring the situation in case of additional launches and maintaining a readiness posture," the JCS said in a release.
The firings came just hours after the North's First Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui expressed a willingness to resume denuclearization talks with the U.S. in late September and demanded that Washington come up with a new proposal acceptable to Pyongyang.
Tuesday's launches could be designed to strengthen Pyongyang's negotiating hand ahead of the resumption of the nuclear talks that have been stalled since February's no-deal breakdown of a summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
The firings were the latest in a series of missile or rocket launches that the North has conducted in recent months in protest of joint military exercises between the U.S. and the South. The North last conducted such launches on Aug. 24 and said it tested a "new super-large" multiple rocket launch system.
Last month, the North's leader sent a letter to U.S. President Donald Trump and vowed to stop those military acts when the joint exercise concluded. Seoul and Washington wrapped up their exercise last month, but the North has continued to conduct such launches.t

The little dumpling of doom needs to read the world news a bit more. If he isn't aware, he should know how Trump responded to the Taliban who were trying to negotiate terms over in Afghanistan. They admitted to killing 11 people, one of whom was U.S. Army Sergeant 1st Class Elis A. Barreto Ortiz, 34, from Puerto Rico as reported over on this thread here: https://www.raptureforums.com/forums/threads/trump-cancels-peace-negotiations-with-taliban-after-kabul-attack.152117/

they stupidly thought this would strengthen their bargaining position but it backfired.

The dumpling of doom needs to rethink his strategy. At the very least the Hermit Kingdom needs to get regular delivery of some international newspapers. He might learn something.

Sooner or later Kim has to make a decision. A real one. I don't think this can continue because at some point he's going start firing long range ICBMs and it will trigger another visit by our carrier groups. Trump won't be able to keep putting up with it or everyone will see that he's being played.
