Me sing heh heh - nah .....I can kinda sing in key but that's about it....loved opera as a kid (yup have a bizarrely mixed up musical (and other!) past ...so the process of producing a classical singing technique fascinates me ...

I love to sing i sing a lot of 80s christan rock or classic secular rock if its clean and decint but i prefer to sing christan rock like petra and whitecross I sing a lot of journey to some songs i like to sing by journey is lights. And wheel in the sky. Another one i like to sing is faithfully for my mom and dad.☺ and by petra road to zion this means was and judas kiss......... A lot I know lol and i am learning to write biblically based music like petra.What style do you sing, what do you like to sing and do you write your own songs

I like all kinds. Victoria sent me a list of Christian artists to try. I know a lot of oldies, 80s, c/w......... I like to sing Shania Twain, Corrs... and no I don't write but I would like to try!

How long did you work in a law office for?? Pre kids I did office work - fave job was admin for a Christian book publishers - absolutely loved that job! ! Yup I'm a full time mum and homeschooling at the moment

It was InterVarsity Press - dunno if you've heard of them?? Absolutely loved it - we even played table tennis during break times and it got very competitive heh heh

Ah well to cut a long story short ....did the usual tooty plastic recorder thingy at school and learned to sight read stuff like "Eye level" ...showed an interest in piano, my grandad gave me an upright for my 9th or thereabouts birthday ...sat at it every night after school working out major and minor chords, read through a tune a day, then me and Mum went through a major thing of classical music shows which gave me a love of orchestral sound ....then started in worship group at the church I went to as a kid ... ....fast forward through clubbing phase .....and since then just a case of learning as many different classical pieces as my fingers can play. Got shortlisted for an amateur composing comp ten years ago in Denmark - very exciting and scary to play one of my pieces in that and what a beautiful grand piano I played on. Sigh!!!
Messed up 30 seconds in too ....through nerves! !! Had to pretend I was practicing by myself ...

All the composers in here have me a little intimidated. I wrote some music for a counterpoint class once. It passed the grade, but it wasn't that great.
I am a lyric soprano, and I tend to gravitate to stringed instruments. My main instrument is violin, but I'm trying to get my guitar playing up to level. I've taken harp lessons, bagpipes, and self-taught on erhu, dizi, and recorder. I am absolutely terrible at piano. I have teeny tiny hands! (and I don't want to put in the work to stretch them!)
My great love right now is just straight up hymns. The words have depth to them, and the melodies are beautiful. When done with meaning, it's basically praying.
so fascinating to start a piece and you don't know which direction it will end up going in have you a particular favourite piece to play? Ditto violin ....gosh seems so hard to play a violin - once tried a note on my cousin's and yeow ....painful on the ear lol

I think how o starred is bon Jovi I heard bon jovi playing and I was like I want to fo that!!! then I started to learn how to play guitar you give love a bad name was the first song I ever learned to play. Then after a year I decided to start with Christian rock so I play Christian rock more then anything now. I think I probably told you the whole longer version on how I got started I cant remember
