I went to the link and was scrolling through the comments. Apparently the team all prayed for Damar Hamlin after the announcers called for a moment of prayer. One comment said that “all NFL players are Christians…”. I’m not a supporter of Fox News so I can’t comment, but I’d be surprised if that was true.

Anyway, the main thing is that he needs our prayers; he is still in critical condition as of this afternoon.

Not only that, but how can someone make a generalized blanket statement like that.
Did that individual hear the testimonies of all involved in said comment?

I just read that they do not expect him to make a full recovery. I don't know what quality of life he may end up having. He now has anoxic encephalopathy.

I have a friend who had a heart attack at 33, he says he now has to take medication for the rest of his life.

The only professional sports player that also had a heart attack during the game and is still playing the sport is a soccer player for Manchester United called Christian Eriksenn.

Hopefully by some miracle Hamlin may also continue to play if he can recover from this

It's not unknown for a young athlete to have a cardiac arrest but it is certainly not common.
Young non athlete men have cardiac arrest.
Sometimes the Drs find an abnormality, that may have been present from birth.
i would think pro athletes would be examined pretty good prior to joining a team.
