US Attorney General Merrick Garland is fighting to release Jack Smith’s final report after Judge Cannon issued a temporary injunction blocking it from public view. On Tuesday Judge Aileen Cannon temporarily blocked Jack Smith’s report on his lawfare investigation into President Trump. My guess is that the Congress will use this report as the basis for an immediate impeachment. As a reminder, they impeached him the last time after he’d left office. I don’t trust Jack Smith’s final reports because I’m sure it will go the extra mile to make Trump look like the criminal they’ve decided he is. They won a small victory in New York in that case by being able to call him a convicted felon but Smith is swinging for the fences in stopping Trump from becoming president again.

Now that the judge in NY has sentenced him and Democrats can gleefully call him a felon he can appeal it. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t. As for impeaching him, I think the Democrats will wait till they have control of the House again and then go for it. I do believe that a sitting president can’t be dragged through a court proceeding. I guess we will have to see how it plays out.

Hopefully any impeachment attempt will fail. They will never give up, never admit they were wrong, and never change. The liberal mind is not normal and therefore not able to think in a logical manner. Their "feelings" override factual information.

No. As incoming head of the Executive Branch, he has no direct control of the Judicial Branch, even when he becomes President. It all has to be handled through his lawyers.

And impeaching him will be difficult, at least in his first 2 years, because both the House and Senate are controlled by Republicans.
