On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher argued that it’s naive to think China isn’t using TikTok for propaganda and data-gathering purposes given all of the evil things China already does.
After his panel mentioned how TikTok can be used for propaganda purposes, Maher stated, “Well, it’s also about what they’re getting, the data that they’re stealing that they’re able to look at everything that somebody is doing on TikTok.....

Most democrats scoff at the idea that China is behind TikTok and that China and even our own govt spies on us.

Who would've ever thought Maher would gradually, and now more regularly, speak against liberal reasoning and point out its irrationality on several fronts!
...It's amazing to see people like him take note of which direction it's all going. Things must be getting really bad when even the blind are beginning to see it!

I appreciate that he's not totally dismissive of concerns at times, simply because of one's political leanings.

China wants us and needs us to buy their junk. If there is collusion its to market to us more and more stuff.

Eventually we will become so bloated, they will come to our rescue and establish de-tox camps. And once the US has been cleansed, they just take over.
