That kind of sums up what love is all about! 
As an example, I hate art museums and would never go there on my own. However, I enjoy taking my wife there because she enjoys the museums.
Here is an example of a one sided marriage.
Wife: Why don't you shave your beard, as you look much better without it.
Husband: Really, you like me better without the beard? OK, I will shave it off tomorrow.
Husband: You know I have always loved your long hair, as you look so beautiful with it.
Wife: Well get a good look at it, because I am cutting it short tomorrow. The girls at work think I would look better with short hair.
In a really good marriage you don't have to suffer if your spouse gets their way a lot. Making them happy, should make you happy!!!
