The road to hell is paved with good intentions? RT debates controversial human-monkey hybrid trial
5 Aug, 2019

Scientists have grown the first genetically-modified human-monkey embryo, in an experiment on future organ transplantation. RT heard different views on whether this method is ethical and morally acceptable.

Researchers from the Salk Institute for Biological Studies and the Murcia Catholic University (UCAM) in Spain deactivated the organ-growth genes in the monkey’s embryo and replaced them with human stem cells, which can be used to grow any type of human organ and tissue. The experiment, which ended after two weeks without fully growing the embryo, paves a way for creating organs for transplantation, scientists say.

New York Observer columnist and political commentator Andre Walker told RT such methods can be “cruel” to animals but the research, nevertheless, will be a “positive step forward” if it helps to save patients who might die without a transplant.
In an ideal world we wouldn’t harm animals in this way. But I think that if you’re being given a choice between the death of a child and the death of a monkey, [you] have to accept the death of the monkey.
Disagreeing with him, fellow political commentator David Vance argued that using animals in medical experiments is “scientifically and morally flawed,” and “will repel many people.”
The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and just because those ushering us along that road wear white coats, does not mean that it is a destination that we should be going.

What is horrific is not only an animal that will be deformed, then most likely killed if they are able produce and harvest the organ they are after, but also one of the underlying reasons science pushes for abortions ... to harvest the stem cells. Let no one be deceived, these actions are not really IMO to help people who need organ transplants, but rather for prestige, pride and the almighty $. If they really were trying to improve the quality of life for recipients awaiting a transplant, they would not kill the many other lives to do it.

And I also think there may be an even more nefarious reason behind the research. In an article in the current edition of the MIT Technology Review (https://www.technologyreview.com/s/614052/scientists-are-making-human-monkey-hybrids-in-china/) I read the following:
"Pablo Ross, a veterinary researcher at the University of California, Davis, who previously worked with Salk (ie: the Salk Institute in California - operated by the same Spanish researcher who is making the human-monkey chimeras in China) on the [failed] pig-human chimeras, says he doesn’t think it makes sense to try to grow human organs in monkeys.
"'I always made the case that it doesn’t make sense to use a primate for that. Typically they are very small, and they take too long to develop,' he says.
"Ross suspects the researchers have more basic scientific questions in mind. Injecting human cells into monkey embryos could address 'questions of evolutionary distance and interspecies barriers,' he says."
Note that last statement: "questions of evolutionary distance and interspecies barriers." This is the truly frightening part to me. Those who deny God and consider man just another form of animal desire to blur the lines between humankind and the animal world. They want to prove that we are no different. This is all part of Satan's plan to corrupt and destroy God's highest creation. And it is as surely going to bring God's judgment as the creation of the Nephilim did in Noah's day. And that fact has double significance to us: 1) the Rapture is close so we should conduct ourselves in that light. For as Scripture says in 1 John 3:3, "everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself just as He is pure"; and 2) we need to actively be about God's work: sharing the Gospel with all He leads us to, and heavily supporting those ministries that are truly spreading the Gospel here and around the world.

Dabbling in these corrupt ideas could not be more dangerous. It seems man just can’t stop himself from tinkering with God’s perfect creation.

I think we we are in the last days and soon God is going to put a stop to all this very soon. I’m so ready for the Rapture.

As a side note, I don’t want to offend anybody but monkeys are an
animal I can’t stand.

Most definitely. This is an axiom of humanistic religion. Man is animal. There is no real worth except what man can do for man, if man fails in this area they are expendable. Hellish doctrine.

And they certainly have a disgusting way of letting you know when they don’t like being stared at (as in a zoo). :poop:poop:poop

I know this because a monkey swung down and peed on me at the zoo as a teenager, and some got in my hair. How disgusting! These men are messing with the way God meant life and animals to be. One day they will stand before God, and every knee shall bow and tongue confess that Jesus Is Lord!

There is an element of the tower of Babel and the temptation in the Garden

To be as God. The quest for immortality. After the dust settles on this, you'll see, if the Lord tarries, that the focus of research into stem cells and replacement organs will be to conquer death.

Reverse the curse of sin in Genesis.

Without the CROSS

Eternal life on man's terms. Replacing spare parts with the possibility of creating a whole fresh new body to plant one's soul into and continue living on a perpetual stream of replacement parts.

It will backfire on them there is only one way to live forever! Accept Jesus heaven or reject Jesus hell. There man made plan isn't going to work for them they are deceiving themselves!

It's the same with the developing of computer based AI and robotics. There's a constant hope in the research that eventually we could "download" our soul (they call it consciousness) into an artificial body with the "advantage" of increased computing power (intelligence) and all the spare parts needed to keep going forever.

There is a TV show, that I can't remember the name of, based on this concept.

My my.
Now this post packs a punch.
This will preach.

As you said,
" reverse the curse of sin in Genesis, Without the CROSS".

That is absolutely terrifying for those not in Christ.
