More than 4,000 people were baptized in a single ceremony in southern California last Sunday to mark the 50th anniversary of the Jesus Movement.

Baptize SoCal was touted as “the biggest water baptism in history” as 4,166 people were baptized in Pirate’s Cove, marking their acceptance of Jesus Christ and entry into the Christian church.

The mass event was organized by Oceans Church, a ministry located in Orange County, and involved the participation of more than 280 churches and 8,000 attendees on Pentecost Sunday, which marks the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles.

“What an amazing and historic day,” West Coast Life Church pastor Ray Gene Wilson said. “Thousands baptized at Pirates Cove. God is moving in California.”

Pirates Cove is a very small beach at the bottom of some rocky cliffs ............just around the other side of the jetty from
Corona del Mar beach. I used to go there in my teens. My late husband and I had picnics and took friends to sit on the
bluff right above the cove many, many times. Beautiful place and so many beautiful memories. I wish I could have been there
on Pentecost Sunday to have seen that baptism service! It had to have been overwhelming.............

God can work miracles, and in southern California of all places...

Could it be that the insanity of wokeism is making young people aware of the consequences of rejecting God? There could be a fire starting to burn that could grow into a raging fire of worldwide revival, as a backlash against the devil worship that has become so rampant. Maybe another sign of the end times coming.
