A number of global banking giants have partnered with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for a 12-week digital dollar pilot program.

According to a statement from the New York Fed, the trial will “explore the feasibility of an interoperable network of central bank wholesale digital money and commercial bank digital money operating on a shared multi-entity distributed ledger.”

Specifically, the program will be testing “the technical feasibility, legal viability, and business applicability of distributed ledger technology to settle the liabilities of regulated financial institutions through the transfer of central bank liabilities.”

Mastercard, Wells Fargo, Citigroup, HSBC Holdings, PNC Financial Services, TD Bank, Truist Financial, and U.S. Bancorp are among the big banks that have partnered with the New York Fed’s New York Innovation Center for the pilot program.

I was always favorable towards getting rid of paper money all together. Then Cryptocurrency with the ability to minutely track every transaction came in to being... Now I see how that will give the govmint power over our individual purses that they were never meant to have.

When you factor in that, at some point, the sheeple will likely assent to our Govt and corps adapting a China style "Social Credit score" ...first voluntarily for the good little goose stepping citizens and than mandated for all a few years later, the implications are 100% terrifying.

Anyone who wants to be part of society because they are dependent upon it's luxuries and comforts will have no choice but to go along to get along with what will likely be more and more socialist doctrine.

It's heartbreaking that anyone who points this out is simply branded as a "conspiracy theorist" when it's so obvious, anyone with critical thinking skills and an ounce of autonomy should see this is the beast system lite getting warmed up and ready to go online.

For what it's worth, I hate carrying and using cash myself. I think it's nasty, unhygienic and dangerous to carry/hoard and I have no problem with a cashless society (most of us are there already with EBT and CC's for almost everything) it's the pairing of that with a potential mechanism that can be used to "red flag" an individual based upon how much Govt Kool-Aid they do or do not drink and what their opinions re; the Kool-aid might be....followed by increasing penalties for those who refuse to goose step/don't kick high enough when they do.

Hitler and Stalin would have embraced this technology wholeheartedly.

I was looking at another article this morning that indicated the same big banks are already developing a "carbon score" where restrictions might be placed on purchases to limit your carbon score.

So as with corporations becoming the speech police for govmint, they might also start telling us what we can use our credit cards for. So if I buy steak one day I might have to wait a period of time before I can buy steak again, for example... :rant and govmint's hands appear to stay clean.

That's terrible. I'm sad thinking about the World my kids will grow up in. Hopefully it will make it easier for them to cling to Jesus Christ.

That’s the sheer evil genius of it. The Corporations (who really own the politicians anyway) will be the medium of control and shape what is considered acceptable or not. I thought for 5 mins about going to Chase bank and telling them I was closing my account of roughly 25 years because I do not agree with their slobbering endorsement of ESG Guidelines. Than I realized that probably, all banks are or will be, the same way. Sigh.

I’m only with Chase to begin with because they are the entity that has devoured the past two banks I had my business with.

Now I look and see the Mutual Fund Giant I was employed at for 20 years (it’s Vanguard, which is a VERY different entity than it was back in the 1990’s) just adopted an ESG Index fund. Gross.

I'm with Morgan Stanley because they gobbled up my previous brokerage. I tried to stay a step away from the Big Banks but know I don't really have anywhere to run from them now. All the smaller players that I would trust with funds have been gobbled up...

Setting up the beast system right before our eyes.
What a time to be alive and witnessing all the prophetic events unfold.
That's what I keep thinking. We live in amazing times. Back in the day things like global shutdowns, enforced vaccinations, and a lot of the crazy things we see today, would have seemed laughable. Stories reserved for Dystopian novels. But we're seeing these things happen... The Bible is being proven 100% accurate on all counts. It's both amazing and fascinating, and also rather scary because we're in it.

It really is! A little like a roller coaster ride at times. I catch my breath, gasp, close my eyes and hang onto the Lord for dear life but what a time to be alive is right. The prophets and the apostles would have loved to be here and see it all happen and know that Jesus is coming for us soon. Even though they expected him at any moment, they also seemed to have an understanding that it might take a while-- Peter in 2 Peter 3 speaks of the last days when scoffers come mocking the teaching of the coming of the Lord.

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you're saying. I had to reread it over and over and I still don't understand it.
It’s just everyone keeps saying like it’s all happening in the future but everything is happening currently making it difficult for children and parents now. I know it will get worse though.
Maybe it’s just one of my peeves and I was expressing it, so can just disregard.

It was the way that it was worded that didn't make sense to me. It is difficult now, but I can only see it getting much worse. Look at how much the world drastically changed in just 10 years. Imagine another 10 years from now.

Yes, times are getting bleaker everyday, but even now, we can always find rays of Light around us.

As we get older, I think most of us like to reflect back to the better times. I believe it was on this board that someone once said “I wish I knew at that time, I was living in the good old days”.

Thank the Lord for the hope we have outside of this World. I only hope my children accept Jesus Christ at a young age. Then I can die in peace.
