As long as it takes. How long can they hold the ashes? It sounds like they are really pushing hard to get the Temple built fast.
Ashes don't go bad..

I thought there might be a period of time that they have to use the ashes according to Jewish law.As long as it takes.

I don't remember hearing about an expiration for the ashes, just that they need someone purified (from previous ashes) to sort these ashes.I thought there might be a period of time that they have to use the ashes according to Jewish law.
Seems like I heard on a sermon recently that the amount of ashes needed is tiny. Seems like he said the ashes of one cow could last hundreds of years.I thought there might be a period of time that they have to use the ashes according to Jewish law.
It took a solid minute of Googling, not very talked about, but I found this:Do the ashes actually have to be produced by a sacrifice on the Temple Mount? The cows can't live forever, so I would think they would have to be sacrificed within a year or so to make sure. And if there is a sacrifice even rumored to be there... it could get ugly.
Interesting thanks. It took a solid minute of Googling, not very talked about, but I found this:
"Texas businessman Byron Stinson – the man instrumental in locating and helping get five red heifers from the United States to Israel – told ALL ISRAEL NEWS that finding the sacrifice-ready cows was not the only objective. Boneh Israel, the organization Stinson is involved with, has also purchased land on the Mount of Olives that meets the requirements for a biblical sacrifice outside of a temple. "
So it seems they have a sacrificial location! The article was published in September 2022, and further stated they would be ready in as little as 13 months.
Not including the link, but not sure if this excerpt is ok @Chris

It is all coming together as the Lord told us. I would not be surprised to hear the trumpet/Shofar any day now."Texas businessman Byron Stinson – the man instrumental in locating and helping get five red heifers from the United States to Israel – told ALL ISRAEL NEWS that finding the sacrifice-ready cows was not the only objective. Despite what my head tells me, my heart agrees with you, after all, Paul expected the rapture to happen in his day, why not ours? Maranatha! It is all coming together as the Lord told us. I would not be surprised to hear the trumpet/Shofar any day now.![]()

Lately I find myself slipping into daydreams more and more often, trying to imagine what eternity will be like. Straining my ears constantly to hear the trumpet call.
My head has trouble even comprehending what's about to happen!
I just checked my schedule and I got nothing going on. I can easily clear it in the twinkling of an eyeAgree, agree, agree! Can't come soon enough!

Yes. Jews for Jesus puts out some amazing worship music too. My mil and I used to wear out those cassettes. We'd be in the kitchen with a cuppa, while dinner was on the stove. We'd put the music on and eventually we would be dancing and praising. My fil and dh would come in, see us, grin, and say "the girls are having their Jesus time", then go fiddle with a truck or something. They knew how special that time was to us. Didn't matter if dinner was late. Good times. Good times.Sometimes I like to watch Jews for Jesus on YouTube. Their salvation stories are amazing. They say that accepting Jesus is the most Jewish thing that they could ever do.
