Isaiah 55:12

Whilst singing the wonderful worship song based on this scripture, I got to wondering if the trees will literally clap their hands. I know they don't have hands obviously! But what will the trees be doing, is it literal?
A simple reading of the the scripture makes it clear this is a Millenial verse, but just pondering. It'll be amazing for sure!

It's a safe bet that this isn't literal.

This probably signifies harmony, peace, and flourishing in nature during the Millennial Kingdom.
