Thanks for posting that. I was surprised at the video makers at the .223's performance, but their explanation about tumbling made sense. Wished they had had a .50 rifle on hand to try. :)
Its funny you should say that. Many years ago I watched a video (VHS) and one of the segments had to do with bullets going through twigs. They placed a background of white paper behind the twigs and shot many different calibers through the twigs to see what the bullet would do and when it hit the background paper it was never a straight hole. Many of them you would see where the bullet hit the paper sideways. Even the .50 cal. bullet deflected! Was very interesting!
