It is currently 17C (63F) and very sunny and super gorgeous. There was a strong wind coming out of the east which made things feel cool during our afternoon outing to the park but then the wind died down and I became very warm! Everything is surprisingly brown and dry out when the snow melt had made everything so swampy just a week ago. The neighbour's farm field has a few wet and green patches but even that is mostly brown and brittle-looking. I think it's still too soon to be worried about fires. There does seem to be a fair amount of rain in the long-term forecast.

Yesterday was sunny and we hit 80F.

Today, is dreary, overcast, windy, chilly, and off-and-on rain and thunderstorms. 50sF and 60sF and more precipitation and thunderstorms the next few days. The rain is still cold rain.

FLOOD WARNINGS, especially the Red River. The water levels in some rivers and tributaries around the state are receding, but lots of waterlogged and soupy areas that are still prone to flooding during the spring rains and runoffs. Some parts of the northern part of the state still have snowpack, so still more melting to come.

Tomorrow its forecast to reach 94! No rain, and in the summer here, rain is very rare.

I am not a fan of really hot weather. It is 82 now feels like 82 to reach 84 low 65. Tomorrow 83 we are suppose to have 60% day rain, and 70% night. It sounds like a wet Mother's Day.
