Pray so they do not serve alone. Ephesians 6:10-20
It started snowing sometime between 0215 and 0700 hours this morning, and it hasn't let up. A real snowfall (a little heavier than a snow shower) with fairly large snow flakes. High 20sF and very little wind. Wet, heavy snow, and slippery in some places. Most people are taking it easy, driving gently, and staying away from other vehicles on the road (just a few idiots).
The sheep in the Nativity are all pretty much buried, although there are a couple of faces still sticking out of the snow. It looks like we've gotten over 6 inches already, and it's supposed to keep snowing until 1700. Of course even the local forecasters were off at least a few hours for the start time, so it's possible the end time is now later than originally forecasted. We've already gotten more than the weather men said were were supposed to get here
However, if one has a Norwegian and/or Scotch Weather Rock, one will get a very accurate, very local, weather report.
Oooh, temperature drops for the rest of the week. Minus 10C (12F) and possibly 5cm on Friday. That is only a small amount but with our milder weather we don't have much now. There are exposed grassy spots on our yard.
SE Wisconsin here....we've had a very mild fall/winter so far, 75 degrees two weeks ago, then it dropped to 25, then back up into the 50's. Now we're at 10 degrees. No snow yet. I was enjoying the warmer temperatures due to not having to turn on the furnace.
