Im new to reading this forum, but have been a long time reader of Rapture Ready, and a member there for one year. I was not raised in a Christian based family, and spent my teen years in and out of trouble. I spent 29 years in the military, and became a Christ loving Christian 10 years ago at age 48. Many folks over the years planted and watered seeds in my life, but I was stubborn, and believed I was a "good person". However, I knew deep down something was missing. I did not have a dramatic moment where I accepted Jesus, but over a period of time, I started going to a church, and reading scripture. From there, I quickly realized I was a sinner, in need of a Savior. I now have a very good relationship with Jesus, and I feed on the Word daily.
Im a pre-trib rapture believer, and also believe in a literal 1000 year Millennium that will follow the end of the 7 year tribulation. My favorite study topic is eschatology. Im also firmly in the camp of OSAS.
I currently attend a baptist church, but I do not identify with any one denomination, as the bible is what I feed off, the church is where I fellowship.
