Had a conversation today with a young pastor's wife....

[Everlasting Life]

I happen to meet such a sweet a young mom of young kids today and learned she was a pastor's wife. I loved her transparency as I asked how she was doing. She shared that things are quite busy with just getting through her days (as any mom of several young kids would be). She also shared some challenges of being a pastor's wife (which she's thankful for the opportunity) and raising a very busy family. I had the joy of encouraging her in various ways. And she encouraged me.

When I assured her that people she doesn't know, the church at large, are praying for pastors and their families around the world for God's help, protection and guidance, she expressed such gratefulness for this, saying that there are times when she's just getting through her day with whatever is going on that she can feel people's prayers, sense the Lord coming along side her moment by moment to help and keep her strong. Especially when she's at the end of her rope or trying to understand how the Lord would desire to use her to bless others

I thought I'd share to encourage you prayer support people, who often lift up the church, pastors, leaders and families of the Church, around the world that you may not even know, in prayer. You should know those prayers are answered and felt by those on the front lines serving the Lord.

And one sweet, tired mom expressed her deep appreciation.
