Gov. Kristi Noem Warns Biden Letting China Buy Chemical, Fertilizer, Food Processing Companies and Land in U.S.

Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD), author of Not My First Rodeo: Lessons from the Heartland, warned of China’s procurement of U.S.-based food production assets on Friday’s edition of the Breitbart News Daily podcast with host Alex Marlow.

Noem described foreign acquisitions of U.S. food production infrastructure and arable land as a threat to national security.

“I have been talking about food security as a national security issue for about 15 years, now, being involved in farming and ranching,” she remarked. “I was very young when I started working on federal policy, because the United States has always embraced a policy where we believed it was important to grow our own food in this country, and I’m a strong believer that when another country controls our food supply, that’s when they truly control us.”

She continued, “If we think a pandemic was scary, wait until we realize that we can’t put food on the grocery store shelves because China controls the entire system, and what most of America hasn’t been paying attention to, is that China — for years — has been buying up our chemical companies, our fertilizer companies, our processing systems, and now they’re buying land, and we have foreign countries that are heavily invested in that entire supply system.”

“We are losing control of the ability to feed our people,” she warned, “and that’s what is challenging us today. We finally are waking up to that, but it is going to be a serious situation that this administration needs to recognize they have a huge role in, and all they’ve done is strengthen our enemies and given them more ability to control our food supply which makes us in a very precarious situation as a country.”

It isn't hard to notice that there is an evil agenda to bring the USA to its knees, and our current administration is in on the shenanigans. Kind of surreal, actually. Who'd of ever thought that this would happen.

Yeah, that is serious.

I was in discussion about this last month with someone, stating the very same concern.

Their question was:

How can the government regulate who farms are sold to? People can sell their property to who they want, so how can the government dictate this?

My thoughts were that regulating how much food is leaving our country might be a way to go.

A govmint can ban foreign nationals/foreign corporations/foreign govmints from owning sovereign territory. You could allow them to lease it where the lease benefits the country in some way, like for a factory or something like that.

You are legally correct. The national security of the United States is the basis for imminent domain. Sadly, the Biden Crime Family has no use for the law. Joe killed the China Initiative and was cheered by the left for abandoning “racism”. If we don’t give China what it wants, it steals it. But Joe thinks our main enemy is domestic terrorism. And the Supreme Court.
At a time when military recruitment is down, 62,000 national guardsmen and reservists were deprived of pay and benefits today for not taking the Covid vaccine. Also today, a Chinese frigate continued its cruise through Japanese waters and Chinese fighter planes abused Japanese airspace.
Today dope addict and Chinese business bagman Hunter Biden was at a White House gathering, receiving smiles from all. A minor issue to Joe: after a year of investigation, Texas Rangers, careers ruined, were found innocent of using whips on Haitians. No apology from Joe. Justice Kavanaugh and his family escaped today through the back door of a restaurant due to bullies in their face with cheers from the mob outside.
A lot of stinky stuff happened today.

When “10 percent for the Big Guy” becomes the most recognizable quote of the present administration, brace for impact.
