To cause us, if possible, to forget how sovereignly powerful God is....even in the midst, most especially in troubling times. A good friend of mine and his wife near Ottawa, Ontario, a pastor with whom I ministered while in Canada, have been out ministering to the truckers. He wrote this to me yesterday:
"We went yesterday again. Overall, we handed out over 50 Bibles, many tracts, food, snacks (8 backpacks full) and prayed with and for many people. We walked for miles and nearly froze but it was a wonderful time for the Kingdom!
We are tired, sore, feeling a little rough today and fighting off a bug, but we have a great sense of peace .Thank you for love and prayers."

Yes, the enemy will use every way he can think of to take our eyes off of God. During those times of great discouragement we need to draw even closer to him. We all go through these times. I've been going through them for the past 4 months, it seems like the enemy is working overtime. God has won the victory and He never changes and His promises we can stand on. We must stand firm.
The Lord has been putting some verses upon my heart! Let us not be discouraged. He has not forgotten us and He is coming soon.

Yes, we just need to remember that He is with us always and we can talk to Him anytime. He hears and He cares and He knows our hearts.
As I listen and watch what is going on in Ottawa and what the whole world has been going through, I've at times felt like I wish I could do more, but, God has a unique plan for each and everyone of us and even if it is lifting up our prayers to Him and living a very quite life within the four walls of our home, raising a family it is still important to Him.
I live a days drive from Ottawa so it is not possible to even think of going there. But, as I've been watching video's and saw those photos today on Laura-Lynn's Facebook page I am led to tears seeing people's faces and the smiles and joy and hope they have and the love that our heavenly Father has for them stirs me to even greater depths to continue praying. Praying for more to come to Him, for lost souls. Praying for the church and for God's will to be done.

You guys do know that someone can express something without you needing to fix them, right?? Sometimes you can just listen. I pray for Jesus to return every day. It's the best fix to our world's problems that I know. I had assumed the people here thought the same. And I don't doubt for a second that God will stop this if it's not the end just yet. No way He'll let the trans-humanist agenda take place. We're all His and He won't let the rulers prevent people from coming to Him. I'd been praying for something unexpected to thwart their plans. NO ONE had Canadian truckers on their BINGO cards. And even if we "lose" and the rulers get their prize, their victory will be very short-lived and ultimately empty. Yesterday, I heard that some protesters are being baptized in their hotel bathtubs. God is moving and working. Maybe He is grabbing those last few souls before He calls us up to Him.
