Before I was a nurse I was in the Army for 6 years. I went to Airborne school too in 1984!

Got to help sick people and help them recover
Worked in ICU where patients are on their death bed. GREAT PLACE TO WITNESS!!!
Worked 3 days a week and had 4 days off
Easy to get a job because there is always a nurse shortage
Never a dull moment and always learning something new

In ICU patients are always offered a chaplain, Rabbi, Priest, etc so you know what their religious preference is. It is put into the computer and I always looked at this every shift.

Patients that are Christians are usually not afraid of death.
One patient accepted Jesus as their Savior a few hours prior to their death.
Christians like to listen to Christian music or the Christian TV stations while in the hospital.
I have seen patients smile just prior to passing away.
Patients ask to pray with me.

Give me 5 things that were nice about being a police officer.

Hugs because of Ferguson, etc. (poor, high-crime, 94 percent African American community)
Sharing The Gospel and praying with and for people that really, really needed it RIGHT NOW
Helping people fix situations/issues before they became things law enforcement had to get involved with
Foot patrol at night in places that desperately needed it
Watching unusual/rare/infrequent celestial phenomena (eclipses, etc.) in the cemetery (no light pollution); looking at stars and moon and progression through the night while out and about
