Exit Poll results are as follows:

Conservatives: 314 seats. (12 short of the seats needed for a clear majority.)
Labour: 266 seats.
Scottish National Party: 34 Seats.
Liberal Democrats: 14 Seats.

If the Exit Poll is accurate we'll end up with another coalition government. :groan

However the Exit Poll is just an estimate. Sunderland should be the first constituency to complete their count and declare.

According to the two results that are in the Conservatives did much, much better than the exit polls suggested they would.

In the last election the Conservatives also did much better than the exit polls suggested they would.

I would not read too much into the exit polls yet.

According to latest BBC forecast Conservatives will have 318 seats - 8 seats short of a majority. The DUP presently have 8 seats and would probably enter a coalition with the Conservatives. I think Theresa May may not be Conservative leader/ Prime Minister for much longer.

The DUP also campaigned for Brexit. So it is unlikely the Brexit would be scuppered. Remember that many Labour MP's also voted for Brexit.
