Former President Donald Trump Goes To Dallas, Texas!

Tall Timbers

Imperfect but forgiven
I wouldn't mind hearing President Trump say a few words to the congregation if he visited a church I was attending. Can't say that I'd feel the same away about most other politicians... But then Trump isn't much of a politician, he's just a guy that ran for the office of the President and won once.

Our Country Needs a Savior Right Now and Our Country Has a Savior. And It’s Not Me. It’s Someone Much Higher” – President Trump in Dallas on Christmas Week (VIDEO)

President Trump is everything the media says he isn’t.
On Sunday President Trump spoke at Pastor Robert Jeffress’ First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.

Trump delivered a wonderful speech reassuring the congregation on Christmas Week.

President Trump: “Our country needs a savior right now and our country has a savior. And it’s not me. It’s not me. It’s someone much higher than me.”

Amen.
The focus has gone from man to God.
God is the one ultimately delivering us.
The rest of us are vessels.
God bless you this Christmas week.

Even if he spoke after the service...if he were present at my church (or any other social place), I would be eager to hear him.

His message was not political. He spoke of the Savior and he is not the one. Trump gave the glory to the Only One that the glory belongs to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords Jesus Christ!

Yes he did say those things, but he also spoke about MAGA and other political comments. I find his comments about God, Jesus, the Savior, etc., rather generic, as he has never said anything to the effect that Jesus is his Savior. Hard to know if his "Christian" comments reflect personal faith or are merely designed to draw in the Christian base. And if he is not a born again Christian, he has no business in a pulpit. People claim Paula White prayed with him--well, I have doubts whether she is a Bible-believing Christian.

I listen to Jack every service. I'm blessed every time. I have prayed that President Trump is sincere and has truly accepted Jesus as his Savior. Its very good that he pointed towards Jesus as the Only Savior because that's where everyone's hope should be.

It would be hard to imagine Trump speaking anywhere without mentioning MAGA and other political comments.

I agree with this. So many Christians were hoodwinked by George "Dubya" Bush. Dubya isn't a Christian, he's a globalist with an agenda. We should take caution with Trump, and keep at the forefront of our minds when watching or listening to him that it's only Jesus we can trust -- all other mens' words are suspect and subject to scrutiny. Let's keep in mind that it was through Trump that the vaccines were rolled out. We would have been more cautious if it were delivered through a leftist administration (as it is now), but we let our guard down with Trump. Keep in mind that Satan doesn't work through the left-wing liberals only. The Devil hates and wants to use and damn people from BOTH political persuasions. It's best to stay your eyes wide open, pray often, and perform what Jesus commanded (i.e. "Do not be deceived").

That hyperlink above is a news article reporting that Trump was booed by his own supporters in Texas after saying, "You're playing right into their hands when you doubt the vaccine..."

Into who's hands? This is the same as Fauci saying, "Don't doubt the science." But doubting the science is how you do science. I'd rather have questions that can't be answered than answers than can't be questioned. Yeah, I voted for him. But it was his pro-American / pro-Constitution policies I supported, not the man himself. He's not God; and because Scripture says, "Let God be true but every man a liar", he's subject to the same scrutiny as any man. Don't be deceived, don't be hoodwinked by anyone (especially in the political arena) who talks a good deal of "Churchianity" out of their mouth.
