The governor of Florida has announced new proposals to combat Chinese espionage near American military installations in the Sunshine State, as well as measures taken to resist social engineering by Chinese Communist Party-affiliated apps such as TikTok.

Governor Ron DeSantis signed Executive Order 22-216, a wide-sweeping EO that attacks China and several other adversarial nations in places where they have been rather successful in infiltrating American institutions, culture and policy.

EO22-216 would prohibit government entities from procuring technology products and services from companies owned by, controlled by or domiciled in the seven foreign countries of concern- with China being at the top of that list.

The other countries listed include Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia and Venezuela.

Our country is under attack on many fronts. Election interference, people attacking on social media causing division, technology theft, and good old fashion espionage. It's all happening by very smart people to bring down the USA for many different reasons. Coveting covers them all.
