I don't think I've ever intentionally watched a debate for presidential candidates. I did attend some debates in Fairbanks for people seeking seats in Borough govmint. It's easy to catch tidbits on the web after the fact. Even though I'll be voting for Trump, I have no more interest in his interview with what's his name that'll be happening today as well. I'm guessing there will be info enough about the debates here at RF tonight and tomorrow.

The ‘debate’ should be about the way our current government is collectively trying to tear down/apart the US. EVERY so called candidate should ignore any questions and solely focus on what the GOP and Dem ruling class is doing to this country. They wouldn’t have to even mention President Trump.
Of course they will not.

Debates are mostly boring. Candidates tonight would be smart to go lite on Trump, and instead focus their attacks on Biden and his disastrous policies, and how they can do better.

Tonight is mainly resume building for a job in a possible Trump administration.

A lot will depend on who is moderating for Fox and what sort of agenda they will be pushing with their questions.

Tucker's interview with Trump that aired at the same time has had over 200million views as of earlier today. I wonder how many watched the debate on Fox.
I read various numbers .
All of them high. From 150 to 228 million views.
If this is accurate , it is kind of telling.
However , we should keep in mind that realistically not all who viewed were supporters .
Nonetheless , still impressive numbers.

Honest how they know 150 to 228 million views, this just like the Ai computer fill out in those issues. Where is proof same problem where is proof votes.

Therefore I am not interested that situation.

Has anyone seen how many actually watched the debate?
The first GOP primary showdown on Fox News was, in fact, the most-watched telecast in all of linear TV, digital, and streaming on Wednesday night with an average of more than 12.8 million viewers including more than 2.8 million in the coveted 25-54 year-old demographic.

What’s more, Wednesday night’s debate hosted by Fox News beat more than 70 percent of all presidential debates in the 2016 and 2020 election cycles.

The same article indicates that so far the Tucker Carlson/Trump interview has had 240 million views. Not really comparable as a lot of those are probably just touch and goes.

I watched some of the debate. Vivek although was seen by many as scoring points, to me seemed like an obnoxious used car salesman. Christie was his usual cantankerous self and was booed as expected. Tim Scott whom I like but does no seem tough enough to be President seemed invisible. I liked Ron DeSantis but surprisingly didn’t seem to get enough air time. The Arkansas governor and the North Dakota governor were irrelevant. I don’t remember if I left anyone out lol. Regardless of who “won” they were all lightweights.

I can tell you the Arkansas Gov is a RINO. I don't think he has a chance thankfully.
